hi can you add a part for reseller ?

 

I did a RU from depositfiles that said it was successful on the RU page but never showed up in file management section. FS to FS RU seems to work okay though

I think RU is having problem .
said SUCCESSFUL 100% but there are no new RU files in the File manager, i dont mean instantly i mean for a long time and the RU speed is slow also, although i cant get my RU files. Please take a look at this.

I got a question about payment plans:

atm I have set it to "Payment per Download"
and I already got: Counted Downloads / $ = 596 / $3.13
but also: Premium Sales Count / $ = 2 / $0

since 60% of a premium sale would AT LEAST be 2*$5,40 ... I am thinking about switching to "Payment per Sale"
the question is...what happens to the $3.13 of counted downloads? or are these 2 premium "gone for good"?

I think thats the only logical solution, they only generate $ WHILE at that very moment the corresponding option is active, am I right?

 

If you change it to pay per sale right now, you will be paid the $3.13 you got while on ppd + whatever sale you generate AFTER switching. So those 2 are gone, you will not be paid for them.

 

RU working fine again, previously submitted links don't work while new submitted are ok

 

I agree, I have some sales today, but I have 0 domain sales. DOMAIN SALES DON'T WORK. I publish links only on my site and all fresh sales (I mean from files published today) without referrer. Guys I'm sure you have a bug or you simply don't want to count. OMG every weekend we're getting new wild bugs. I'm bored of that. I want my money of that sales.

I think you're right . I will look into it. Rest assured, we will compensate everyone for the difference until we get it figured out. I have confirmed, however, that the rest of the stats are fine.

Hello, guys. I`m new here and to FS. I have 2 little thoughts to share with Filesonic`s owners/operators:

1. A random free first time user tries to download on the FS page from link of mine. And omg.. he is confused... the page is too big, too many buttons... and text... and boxes... testimonials?? Then he sends me mails how to download that thing and why i didn`t use sites like h0tfile or something similar with an easy interface where he actually could download the file. Bad for me, bad for him, bad for FS website... i don`t see winners here in that situation. Many ppl are not intuitive and can`t navigate (fast) trough a page like other ppl... things must be made with the presumption that even a not very smart person should operate without thinking much. Please, i have some experience with not so bright clients and i know how dealing with them is a pain... i hope you can understand me. I know there is a purpose after those buttons, texts and etc... but the problem stays.
2. After my adventures with some of my users i wrote a guide how one can download from FileSonic website... After that users come and claim they had to wait 10 minutes for the first download. Yes they are free users but there are people who will download once and never come back... they don`t want testimonials or premiums... don`t we want those people to download that file anyway for the sake of everyone? Is it a bug or they used shared IP i don`t know...

Thanks for the feedback. We are testing various download page layouts to try to find a good balance between servicing the free users and converting users to premium (which also benefits affiliates on pay-per-sale). Since we've put the page up, our downloads have been on the rise, and so have our the earnings of affiliates on pay-per-sale. However, we will take your feedback into consideration as we continue our tests.

They must have been behind a shared IP. The waiting time is 30 seconds for the first download, and 10 minutes for the second. But if someone from that same IP already downloaded a file, the next user will obviously have to wait 10 minutes.

There's not much of a queue on Remote Upload right now. Files should appear in a matter of minutes. If this is not the case, PM me the files you are missing and I will look into it.
