All joking aside, stability is moving along - for which I cannot thank FS-IT enough - so I'm sure the promo will be sooner rather than later. We just need to hang in that little bit longer (unless, of course, there really is a surprise in the works ).

 

why my account status is still free member while i was billed for premium registration 2 days ago ???

 

Quick question.. why the amount of payed total is 24.77 but the total amount of the payments is only 17.22? Thanks a lot for the replies

 

Just an update, so that all my posts are not me just pointing out faults:

14 files upload via FTP today went through perfectly. Another 6 or 7 via RU went through perfectly. Stats seem to be updating in just about real time and I look forward to payment being on time tomorrow

on the top.. between "payments" and "tools" buttons.. i saw this a week or so ago when my premium membership was about to expire and it was gone after i renewed my account... when i saw this again a few days ago, i thought that my membership was already up but when i checked i still have three weeks to go... yeah, so it was kind of annoying.... regards

can you make the download stats visible even when we are on Pay per sale? the way PPS is visible on PPD option.

Implemention-wise, it should be easy since you already have a system in place. You can ignore this request if you have other serious concerns.

Renew Your Account button is visible for ALL premium members. It's not specifically asking you to renew . it's part of all those website changes these days.

 

any chance on increasing the download speed a little bit? i get only around 400 Kb as a premuim donwloader when my conection is 20 MB

 

Many people have the same problem in this week. downloads low and no sales.
maybe people don't like to download file from this filehost.

 

how come me and my referral still have premium sales if people doesn't like the filesonic...it is a matter of strategy also

 

Web upload isn't working for me. Again. I already tried 10 times and none was successful. Either the upload doesn't start or it freezes somewhere. Nothing arrives in the filemanager.
Is this an indication of another lousy FS weekend coming up?

 

As sleapyhe4d points out, the drop in sales was not as widespread as the drop in downloads. In fact, many users experienced an increase in sales. Perhaps you just had an unlucky week.

On a separate but related issue, perhaps FileSonic could consider creating their own download/upload file manager as other hosts do. Granted this would be at a point in the future when the network did not require the high level of supervision which is needed now, but it could go a long way in mitigating the issues many seem to have with third party download managers. In addition to the stricter enforcement of the rules, the inability to use download managers for several days was responsible for the drop in downloads this week.

 

No, the weekend problems don't crop up until the wee hours between Saturday and Sunday. ;-)

Joking aside, FileSonic has had perhaps their most stable week since the changeover. Personally, I'm looking forward to a weekend free of significant downtime and see no reason to find this hope unrealistic based on recent performance.

 

I could be wrong, but it could be a significant load issue. I am guessing that FileSonic does not bother to compile these stats for those on PPS and that is why they are not visible. Conversely, sales stats for those on PPD are visible not only as the compiling of these stats demands less load, but because it encourages folk to maintain a better focus on sales.

In my opinion, a less taxing feature that would serve the same purpose is the reimplementation of running download tallies in the file manager. This is a valuable tool that has been missing since the changeover. Why it was eliminated is a good question.

Alright its good now. Download speeds are much better than before. I am getting 700-1600 KBps. Download accelerator plus shows Resume is supported but downloads dont resume if they get broken. Also if I try to download 2-3 files at a time, all the downloads break in the middle and I have to start over again....


Despite all that... I am still happy. Downloading 1 file at a time at 1500 KBps is much better than downloading 1 at 300. I expect more improvement... but m glad at leasdt someone is working to make it better. Good job and thanks.
