1. We count every download that has been completed. For free users that download from FileSonic, we count multiple downloads from the same IP address.
2. We now count downloads from premium users. We count one download per unique IP every 24 hours.

 

There is no "new" rule. This policy has been in effect since July 1st when the PPD/PPS plans were implemented. In fact, when it was announced, it was an improvement as downloads from premium users were not counted in the old payment plan. What is "new" is that FileSonic reported they were lax in their enforcement of the policy and that its renewed enforcement was a factor in the drop in downloads.

As far as which plan you should choose, don't compare results day by day. Look at your stats on a weekly or monthly basis. Would the sum of your sales x $5.40 exceed your current earnings on PPD? If so, switch immediately as that is the LEAST you would earn PPS. We counted all sales as one month only, a good percentage will actually be for longer terms.

Also, if you do aspire to sharply increase your earnings in the future, PPS is the way to do it. The amount you can earn PPD is much more limited.

Great! The new site is up but downloads are not working at all now. Putting ssi. in as a workaround doesn't work anymore. Damn!! I thought this new site would've fixed errors us VirginMedia guys were having not block us completely from even using a workaround.

Please help!!! Urgently!!!

I get a 30 second wait, then the box says start download now! But, it opens a new web page and says "404 error".



I don't wish to keep banging on about it over and over. I keep waiting patiently before bum,ping, but nothing seems to be done about it.

Stats are fine from our end. There is no backlog at all.

 

Please PM me the link of the file you are trying to download. Perhaps that file has been removed/deleted.

Is anyone else having download issues? Everything looks fine on my end.
