If not, could you please demonstrate how premium users can get direct links for input on other hosts?

There is technically nothing to be fixed. Downloads will remain very low until independent download managers (IDM, JDownloader, etc.) update their code to comply with the new download module FS implemented yesterday. Be prepared for your stats to remain at these levels for at least a couple of days.

Re-fresh the page and they'll snap back to the higher level. FS just seems to be working on a couple of the pages behind the scenes. I've had to re-login a couple times in the past few hours as I navigated the affiliate areas of the site. There doesn't seem to be anything major to worry about.

The '7008 error' issue should be fixed. If you still experience it, please let me know ASAP.

You mean to say that you aren't able to RU from Fileserve to Filesonic? or vice versa?

I am not able to RU FROM FileSonic to any other host.

 

Guys, there are no issues with stats on our side. If some of you are experiencing issues, it could be a combination of the following:

1- Download managers need to be recoded to support FS
2- Users who were doing parallel downloads and skipping the timer (because of a security flaw) can no longer do this. Obviously, if the guy downloads 10 files at a time, you will earn more than if he does 1 at a time. But parallel downloads for free users are against our terms.
3- Those who have been running bots to boost/cheat earnings (and I'm hoping those aren't the people complaining) will now have to use our service legitimately

banj0wood, this is similar to the download manager issue. It's the remote hosts that must support us.

I expect that it won't take too long for the good ones to adjust their RU code.

 

Got to agree with this, as a free downloader. I'm perfectly happy with this 10 minutes compromise, but something like 30 minutes is just too much, and 45 minutes is ridiculous, unless you're sitting at your PC all day long.

 

It seems there is someone from FileSonic Support around here, but I didn't had any answer since 4 days now here or by mail so I'm going to try it again :

As you can see, nothing extraordinary. I've never downloaded one of my files, I can proove where the links are published and that there is absolutly no fraud, or at least none I'm aware of.

I really don't know how my account could have been "flagged" or anything, but I'm really ready to accept any explantion. So please just tell me how and if I made any abuse so I will know what was the issue here.

Slight disagreement with this as you on this as the problem is direct links. FileSonic is not providing them, even with premium accounts, which is why RU from FileSonic is not working. If this is the way it needs to be to insure stability and prevent fraudulent activities, so be it. I can understand and accept that. There are other host that likewise intentionally block RU from their sites. My only quibble is that FileSonic should state this if such is the case instead of hiding behind the "other hosts must adapt" line. Thank you.

 

when i use this http://user:password@... format to upload filesonic to filesonic ...it says uploaded 100 % but nothing shows in manager
