Regarding the Uploaded.to remote upload issue:
The remote upload error occured multiple times with different files, I started several attempts and even deleted cookies to make sure the problem is not on my end. I' using Opera's password manager to enter the login data what means that incorrect input or hesitation don't come into question. I guess I have to wait until tomorrow and give it another try.

Regarding the ftp upload:
Looks like the ftp servers started choking again this afternoon. Several hours ago I uploaded two files and only one of them showed up in the file manager. Jeez

Regarding the statistics:
I agree that something seems to be wrong, I usually earn about 5$ on bad days (thats from Monday to Wednesday mostly). During the past two days my earnings dropped to 2$ something and today I'm stuck at 1$ something - I don't really think that this is a result of the captcha introduction.

 

Uploads are definitely screwing up again. Web uploads seldom work and FTP is becoming hit or miss again as well. Does it have something to do with location? Where are FS and servers located?

You're wrong about "hesitation [not coming] into question. If uploaded.to does not take FS directly to the download - if it hesitates on an opening page instead - then RU will not function. This is true of RU on all hosts. Personally I do not use uploaded.to, so I can neither confirm or deny you are taken directly to your download.

On a side note, this is precisely why RU FROM FS has not worked for a couple weeks. IT changed the way pages re-direct and you are no longer taken to a download directly from a FS generated link. Cases like this also give lie to the "it worked yesterday but not today" argument. Just as FS changed their re-directs a couple weeks ago, uploaded.to could have changed them within the past couple days, thus shutting you out.

Working fine here. Are you guys submitting bug reports or only posting problems here? As problems become less and less generalized bug reports become more important. Most of these issues are not effecting the entire system and FS needs more information from you to quickly track down the problems than simply posting "FTP not working."

Even though FS-IT and I were playing around Sunday, I disagree. My download stats seem a bit light today as well but it is just as easy to explain by saying my recent posts are not as popular as normal as it is to say the stats are buggy.

 

Well here we go again. Now downloads are erroring out again. s62 seems dead. Just when you thought........... What happened guys? Things were starting to level off.

 

thanks for your detailed answer the uploaded.to links lead directly to the download dialog and I never had similar problems before. I'm going to submit a bug report with regards to this within a few minutes.

 

Bump your reconnection setting to (10) and don't forget to send a bug report. Perhaps FS-IT can check the server logs from your IP and give you some reasons it is timing out. Have you tried uploading a file or two to another host to see if you have the same problem in case the issue is on your end?

 

They last time I noticed a server down (Monday), I sent a bug report and FS-IT had the server working and a reply waiting at my inbox within 30 minutes. So, don't forget those bug reports. ;-)

Stats frozen? I usually sell 4+ premium acc but today 0 sales.

 

I set reconnection to 10 and gave it a whirl with fileserve as well. The speed was a little faster but not much. The file uploaded with no issues however. I suspect my router may be impeding the speed but I guess everything is ok on my end otherwise. Maybe I will try bypassing the router one of these days to check speed. This is very annoying though. Hopefully we can get this fixed. On the plus side, s62 seems to be back online now which is good.

Looks like I've got egg on my face. I started getting emails within 20 minutes of my last login reporting broken links. Servers 104 and 106 have been down the entire time and are returning this error:

Other servers appear to be going in and out. Bug reports sent.

For those who have diminished stats today (including myself), I imagine this is the cause.

 

I knew I couldn't be the only one having problems. Things have been better over all but still a ways to go. I thought you spoke too soon banj0wood but was hoping not.
