Even if FTP is fixed nobody can even download. Nothing but errors and all files have to be reuploaded. I'm getting nothing but complaints and bad reputation. Most hosts have a glitch here and there especially at first but this is an all around clusterf*ck. No offense. I give you guys at FS credit for trying and somehow still going though. Hish you seem like a nice guy and doing what you can to help. I'm sure you're going nuts with all these issues. The best thing about FS is their integrity and rock solidness in making payments. I noticed when there was a problem in that dept they always fixed it. I just wish things went better from the start. We would all be much better off.

In regards to the lost files everyone has from RU at the end of last week, will you guys be able to restore those or are they gone?

Hi, I joined and tried Filesonic today, and just could not upload ANYTHING at all. Not even one file.

I tried both ftp and regular upload, both gave errors a lot. Http just remained at 1% (but there was something uploading, my network was active with nothing else running) and FTP either disconnected a lot, or could not connect at all (42k ftp slots, all full). Eventually gave up and moved to FileServe.

 

yes ok but remember there was a problem with internet service providers in the uk
like with virgin who would only allow 60 kbps

 

that'll never happen... unless they don't get it fixed. as far as a refund. buying premiums is like buying the daily paper. no paper no sale.. no worry. because the paper relies on the classifieds for most of their income. Like with FS, I'm sure most of their income is probably from clicks. But still one can't survive without the other. Even nobody bought the premium they'd eventually have financial problems.

right now 29 links don't work. so hopefully the server will be good to go. although jdownloader is treating FS as if I'm a free member so every now and then a note comes up saying free users can't download links larger than 400mb. so probably causing jdownloader a bit of a headache too. ie plugin outdated etc. most of them have a 30 sec countdown I've restarted jdownloader a couple of times , I'm guessing when the server does go up this will go away.

THE MOST important function is that the files are always online.

Yes! Yes! Yes! FTP, RU and anything else is a distant second. The only caveat I would add is not to promise us RU and FTP are working well while you work on this stability FS. Just tell us we need to back off on new files while you work to insure this stability. The frustration comes from being told something is working when it is not.
