I'm getting a bunch of these for my files:

when remoteuplads will be work better? i mean: now i have pending files and any was upladed :/

 

The link itself doesn't seem right. Is that the original link FS generated for you or was it something more like this: http://www.filesonic.com/file/19132273/quickben_filename.rar?

 

yeah thats not the original FS link, thats just what the page gave me. I'll PM you the original link

 

Link still doesn't seem right. FS links typically have the filename at the end (ie. http://www.filesonic.com/file/19338113/filename.avi). I'm thinking the original poster messed up his link.

Yep. Went and found some links to my files on s84. I don't even get the 7008 error. FireFox cannot find the server, period. Guess it's time to stop posting new links to FS for yet another weekend (of course, last "weekend" lasted until Friday). Oh well, I think I had access to the host for almost 24 whole hours. You're right, very sad.

 

do u think the new server causes this new error???i try to download some of my old links and its ok no error at all.the "Download Error (7008)" & "file not found" starts err my links dated sept 07 up to this date.

Server 84 is not new. Checking my links s94 (again, not new) is offline as well.

It's not the new servers, it's that FS seems to have taken a couple steps back when they installed the servers last weekend. I would tend to believe it is the blame of poor coding, not the addition of the servers. I had expressed doubts that the new servers would solve the the problems as FS was suggesting. I believed it came down to programming not capacity as they believed. I did not, however, expect the absolute mess that followed the installation of the servers last weekend.

I had also begun to believe they were pulling their way out of the muck Thursday and Friday, but with everything that began popping up as soon as the FS staff called it a day Friday, it's looking more like the same ole window dressing. Looks more like they have enough duct tape and bailing wire to keep things running while staff is on site, but all hell breaks loose as soon as the babysitter goes home.

 

1) Web upload completely unusable, uploaded twice 8 files each 200MB, none of them is in file manager.
2) Tried FTP, after many attempts I got in just to see speed of 50 kB/sec - Unusable
3) I have reported several bugs through Filesonic's bug report system almost week ago. Until today I got no answer, bugs are not fixed.
4) I have domain sale from my friend's site, but I don't have the money for sale (6 months premium), reported through bug system, even to Alex on ICQ, still nothing happened.

I am getting really pissed...

 

And s62 is offline.........more to come I'm sure.

 

i think i have to wait for my next birth to see filesonic working properly specially its RU

 

On my last bug report in the suggestions section:

"The only suggestion I have is to myself: Start posting links on a more reliable filehost."

 

Let's pour some salt on the wound. Every file I uploaded yesterday when I thought the site was finally "working" is on one of these three piece of sh!t servers. The files I have transferred via RU since discovering this are also being assigned to these three piece of sh!t servers.

Well, FileSonic, a big thanks not only for wasting my time the past two days and killing the past week for me, but for making me look like an a$$ while suggesting other members should back off and give you time/space to work. Looks like the smoke and mirrors joke was on me, wasn't it?

 

even banjowood has lost faith, that can't be a good sign. FS Support needs to be here at least giving vague answers to keep hope alive.

 

The thing is, we pay for a service that we don't have, if it was free we couldnt complain too much. I think I bought 6 months premium for nothing. Luckily i'm working with other hosts like Hotfile/Fileserve who work well, even if they pay a bit less.
I don't understand what kind of person starts a service like that when it clearly doesnt work well, we are not beta users, we are clients.

I am now skeptic and I think FileSonic will never be repaired.
