Web uploads are not working at all today either. Just tried s62 and it died. So that makes 6 days now and counting (if you don't count the last month too).

    Guys,

We've mounted a brand new FTP module to test. If you can try it out and provide me with feedback, I would really appreciate it.

Here's what you need to know:

    - This server will NOT show you the files you currently have in File Manager. It is a simple (and hopefully effective) FTP server where you just dump your files. Uploaded files will appear shortly after (within minutes, or even seconds) in the root of your File Manager. From there, you can do your renames, move to folders, etc
    - If you upload a folder, the files in it will get uploaded to the root, but the folder itself will not. This is a feature we will implement later.
    - If you get a "max connections" message, please do not report it as an error. We limited this server to 80 users just for this test.

To connect, FTP directly to s8.filesonic.com with your regular FS username.

    Looking forward to your feedback.

    Thanks,
    FS-IT

All is ok for me. Files after upload are fast moved to my root folder. But speed is still to low, I get only 1.46 MB/s.

    Regards.

The speed is limited to 1.5 MB/sec, but this was the case with FTP for the last 2 weeks. It is just a measure to keep the FTP more stable and so that one user doesn't take over everybody's bandwidth.

Is the speed really that big of a problem for you guys?

    Thanks,
    FS-IT

Please stop your uploads to s8.filesonic.com. I will restart it with a higher limit (5 MB/s). It'll be back online in a couple of minutes. In the meantime, some of your uploads will be interrupted

Yes, if I upload a game (example 5.5 GB size), It takes more than 1 hour :( It is too long for us- uploaders. If I want to upload a few games, I have to sit half the day with a laptop.

Everything works perfectly. Speed is 4.88 MB/s. very good :)

btw, I remember the days when speeds were over 7 MB/s :D That would be a great speed in the future ;)
