The old skin was 100 times better,this one seems unprofessional and complicated.

I also don't like this skin + premium page.New premium page is complicated for newbies.And also have no sales so far today.

I'm always appreciate the efforts what Filesonic team do the make better the site the service, but now (after I look around into this new display) unfortunately I have to say that I'm really disappointed.

This new layout isn't a step forward but a leap backwards.

- The new layout is more complicated, navigating the site is confusing and unnecessarily complicated. Now I need to do additional clicks to get to statistics.

- Sharing: the new layout just makes things more complicated. I post the file size and full file name into forums. Before that was only 2 click, now the system give me the shorter name and for the link I have to first hover cursor over drop down menu, click share, click more options and click 'url with full file name' button.

- There used to be the small + or - next to the folders so you could expand or contract them as desired. Now, once you have expanded a folder see the subfolders, there is no way to reduce the list again short of refreshing the page.

- Deleted files: I still can't see now many files was deleted, there was a number of it, now there isn't.

- I can't move or copy my files because if you have more folders the end of the list is goes beyond from the end of the page and I can't scroll, so "copy", "move" button is missing in this case. This is a big problem.

- The new skin on the premium page for downloaders is too complicated for newbies. The older was clear and good, this new isn't. And it's bad for sales...

You can read to comments and see the most of it says the same. If there is a possibility PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give us back the good old layout. That was perfect, user-friendly, but this new...

yes , just please bring the old one, please consider your affiliates requests and change it with the old one ..i appreciate your great works but u have to get your aff.. permisson when u have made big changes like that ..arent you ? we dont like this uselless thema/layout/new look whatever ! bring the old working one back , please !

 

Can't see the number of files within a folder now.

I prefer the layout to be nice and simple.

 

Most of you are lucky,since the new interface change have not been able to connect to site.Also noticed i cant send a PM To Hish,why just before christmas change the interface and leave everyone wondering instead of telling people,Hish does a great job responding to everyone and deserves some time off,but filesonic have brought this on there self by changing the interface now and not in the new year,and at the moment i am left with an unused paid for account that i cannot connect too.

 

I totally agree with this!

It would be nice if you beta-tested new changes with a few users before implementing such big changes to the interface

 

I agree too, i hope this pbl will be fixed before xmas. Specially the problem or we cant make folder public

 

no sales today ... Hish please compare a day without new skin and a day with new skin (total sales) eg. thursday.. and tell me your report please

 

New template is really nice

 

If the FileSonic team can't remove the new layout or theme, hopefully, they could make an option on which theme their affiliates want to use.

Hi Hish,

The Home Page of Filesonic Looks horrible and loads very slow. Even color combination of Black+White+Light Blue really irritating. A collaboration storage site must have Professional & decent look. The template look like a creation of new blogger or web designer. For a new user, it never looks likes a storage host site. Change too much of white color of site to something smooth or deep color , as white color have great impact on eye with constant looking at.

What a Pro User can do with 1GB collaborative space as it too less? Better make it to 10 GB or remove the facility(rarely an affiliate will use such feature as it will not generate any money). Even I use another file service (though not popular) which provides 100GB Hotlink download per month.

Again, what is the meaning of "Limited file sharing" option in Pro account". As a Premium Member he must have the Unlimited feature.

Anyway, thanks for constantly adding new features to Filesonic.

Who do i contact about not being able to connect to site since interface change,cant contact Hish,icq no one responds and cant get on site to send ticket.

 

i don't mind about the new layout , it's looking pretty good and more secure for a cyberlocker service
the problem is On the new premium account layout wich is FS PRO and Collaborate because for the new members that want to buy an account for dowloading something they will be confused if FS PRO it means premium account and not something about filestorage,so i predict the premium sales to drop , also most of them will buy the 9$ service because the other prices are hidden and more hard to select them for somebody that just want to download something

on the uploader point of view ..i'm confused ..if i don't have FS PRO but i have an old account lifetime premium it means that my filles will still stay forever on the server or it will be deleted after 30 days ?
and other problem that i have is about description on the filles layout that is hidden right now under the I button ( not seeable on the page like it was before ) and i have made a setting with the password writed in description about the password protected filles and right now the people that want to download something will not see the password because is hidden under the information button

bottom line the design is good but also scares me because filesonic with this design it shows like a file storage only service
so please hish tell us that affiliate system will not be removed in the near future like it happend on wupload

 

^^^^Lifetime Premium IS FS PRO. Any Premium account=FS Pro.
I don't think the sales will drop. After being in a rut, 3 days with no sales, I just made 3 sales today...All good, thanx Hish+FS team.
Still buggy though. I still cannot set a new folder to public..would be one of them.
