It would be nice if filesonic give discounted premium referral link for affiliates so affiliates share some of the sales % to the buyer like for in 60 PPS plan 30% to affiliate and 30% to buyer so buyers will be happy to buy from our discounted premium referral link.

    Thanks

i wish we could request payment manually or have an option to select the amount to be paid in payment account, so i can divide the earnings between my paypal and alertpay. those who wish to receive it automatically should be able to continue to do so too

i hope this is will come true one day

also do change the file deletion 30 days after upload to 30 days after last download for FREE users. i promoted filesonic heavily in my forum, and now its full of dead links! i dont think it benefits filesonic in anyway!

    Hi Max

Actually, This does benefit us alot ... It reduces a high percentage of barely used links.. Now, If a user is active, he is able to request a free premium, or if he doesn't know that, he can trade in points and get a premium!

    Hi Guys

1st of all, we are already very competitive in the pricing, versus our competitors.

Second, we take alot of pride in our product. We know that our product is a great one and a very user friendly one. Therefore, we are against cutting down prices. :)

Hi, we don't mean cutting down premium prices instead cut affiliates 10% (or whatever. If possible let affiliate set this) share and give it to the buyer. For example if the affiliate is in 60 PPS plan and if anyone buy premium from his discounted premium referral link instead of paying $9 full for 1 month pay only $8.1 and that affiliates will only get $4.5 instead of $5.4 so no loss for filesonic.

Also to prevent abuse give this ability to active affiliates only so inactive affiliates will not snatch others sales.

This type of discounting will no affect filesonic's revenue in any way as discount is taken from affiliates share. Discounting even if very small really work wonders in selling that's why thought of posting it there. If its not possible then no problem :)

this way its better! cutting down prices will lead to lots of third party sites which sells premiums at lowest prices, and the ones who think it will help will be loosing more sales!

given a chance, people will find ways to abuse it. i suggest giving this ability only for active affiliates, only limited no of premiums at discounted rates available, and separate link for each premium sell, if such a system is to be implemented!

Exactly, limiting no of discounted sales for each affiliate depending on activity will prevent abusing also this will motivate affiliates to work harder to get more discounted premiums.

barely used links are those with no downloads. there are users who don't care about earning and just upload in filesonic for sharing. those files also generate sales as long as they are alive! may be give files atleast 7 days grace period before deleting them?

barely used links are links with 1 or 2 downloads every 30 days. It might be users downloading them just to keep them alive!

We have a grace period of 48 hours :)
