I'm also getting daily sales like 10-30 ,

Yes, you can tell, that it was from foreign link from my site, but I have no foreign links on my site and statistic leads to "http://www.filesonic.com/file/0" so someone got paid 12 instead of me.

I think it's not very serious

Are you being serious ? How stupid do you think we are ? Seriously I feel totally insulted that you would assume I'm that stupid !
Advertising the premium accounts is fine, but adding someone else's ref link can serve only one purpose - to deliberately divert sales from the genuine referrer to somewhere else.

So why is it there then ? "A test" - a test of what ? The only thing this could be testing is to see if paying for a few sales can be avoided - what other purpose can this 'test' have ?

Ok how are you going to do that ? How can you know where the sale really came from when the bogus premium ref is credited for the sale ?

You know what - what's the point ? It's hard enough to make anything without this kind of crap. (waiting for the stream of 'fs is great - look how much I made' posts from the usual suspects)

 

I do not see how this can be a 'test'.
I read about this issue in some thread several MONTHS ago (ref on banners on signup page being substituted for another by FileSonic).

Please... let there be NO questions whatsoever about stats - fix this.

If some of your sales are being credited to 'someone' else, then wouldn't that affect your stats ?

 

A signup page should not display a second referrer - anywhere.
I do not care if Hish says it doenst get any signups.

It shouldnt be there at all.

Sales -> stats.

it would be best if filesonic removes the premium referral from download page asap! else it will ruin filesonic's credibility
