    Could you ty to upload using Firefox or Google Chrome ? IE is definetly not the best Internet Browser at all...

    Hi!
    I think, I've found some decision why many users complain at bad links and Page Not Found. During test I used Firefox 3.6.8 and Free Filesonic account.
    For example we have 3 parts of file. I open part 1, part 2, part 3 on new tabs. Then on each part I click "Regular download" and get timeout of 30 seconds on each part. When time is over at 1st part I click "Start download now" and get this page --> "An Error Occurred Page not found" (link http://filesonic.com/error?bad_stream=0&bad_ip=0&bad_pass=0), then I click at 2nd part "Start download now" and again I'm getting "An Error Occurred Page not found". And finally I click at 3rd part "Start download now" and I'm starting to download my file without any errors.
    Explanation: As filesonic supports only 1 parallel download so the last part cuts all previous downloads. So if you want to download file you need to open only one tab in browser wait timeout and then start to download, If you open some files to download in the same time you'll have ability to download ONLY ONE THE LAST ONE, all previous files will show you "An Error Occurred Page not found" (link http://filesonic.com/error?bad_stream=0&bad_ip=0&bad_pass=0).

    To make the situation clear for downloaders, I guess instead of stupid Title "An Error Occurred Page not found" you should put some information, like "you've opened some parallel downloads, please close all tabs and open only one" or something like that.

    SUPPORT PLEASE PAY ATTENTION at this, because a lot of downloaders just open all tabs in the same time and then send us a lot of complaints that files impossible to download.

    Actually as a free user if you try to download more than one file you should be redirected to the premium buy page :)

    Are you trying to download them as free user or as premium user ? Did you try top download them one by one or both at the same time ?

    why RU from rapidgen.net is not working with filesonic but it is working well on other filehosts but if i try to remote using my rs premium account then it gets uploaded very quickly

    Premium user and download one by one,most of my files are in parts but a lot are 1 click solutions,the problem is i cant download any files be it my own or any others,not even these

    But if i use a proxy i can download them ,but i cant tell people to download my files by using a proxy and they should not need too being premium or free users.
    The thing is my stats reflect that people can download my files but are about 1/4 lower than usual.So they must be something wrong i have pm filesonic support and sent bug report,so lets hope they sort things out.

    Yep, that would be great, but I guess user needs some explanation regarding situation, because they will complain that it every time redirects them into "Buy Premium" page.

    While the advice provided is helpfully, there are geographic issues which can render moot all such steps. Just look at the posts from those in the UK (whom FS has informed they are working to correct re-direct issues).

    It could be a browser issue, it could be a dl manager issue or it could be an FS issue. You can keep working on it in the hope the problem can be solved from your end, but if the problem lays with FS, you're stuck waiting it out. Unfortunately, as time has progressed this week, FS seems to be denying more and more that bugs actually exist.

    Now starting to become slightly disgruntled....
    Still (after two days) unable to download ANY files using ANY browser or ANY download manager.
    Have cleared all caches, all cookies and even cleared DNS cache.
    When reporting it here or via PM am generally asked to provide an example, or to check if the file is located on one of the dodgy servers.
    I can't really make it any clearer IT HAPPENS WITH ANY FILE. If you need an example link google filesonic and pick one at random.
    I'm sure that all these people replying to others with the same problem saying "I can download them" are trying to be helpful but to be perfectly honest even these replies are starting to piss me off.
    It seems that it's been accepted that this is a geographically related problem only being encountered by users in the UK (I think).
    Surely this must give some kind of indication as to where the error in the coding is.
    I hope that this doesn't go on as long as the previous interruption did (6 days around August 16th).
    What would be really good would be to have some kind of update every so often on the FS news page so that at least we have an idea as to the progress or otherwise being made.
    As things seem to be going at the moment I would say the most efficient way is going to be to completely wipe all the servers, reup the software from Sharingmatrix and start from scratch.
    FS are getting very close to finding theirselves with the same collapse in users as rapidshare (anybody seen anything uploaded to rapid in the past month or so).
    Please try to sort this out FS people and keep us informed.
