Hi, I've just registered on the forum, so don't bite! I was just wondering if anyone has been having difficulties with the FileSonic referral program. I'd been referring new users with no problem until about three months ago, when my earnings disappeared from the referrals page, although they were still showing up on the main statistics page. I contacted support, and they gave quite an unhelpful reply that basically said that it didn't matter if there was a bug on the referrals page, as long as I could still see my earnings elsewhere. Having given up advertising the site for a while, I started again a few weeks ago, but haven't had any new referrals, which seems strange on past form, and I'm wondering now if the referral link itself isn't working, or if I've got new referrals but they aren't showing up.

It's irritating, because from the dribs and drabs of earnings I've been receiving I must have active referrals, so I can see how I might build up a passive income if I could refer a lot more. But if I can't be sure the system is working, it's hard to see the point of carrying on.

 

Ok, but here's the thing... i'm not the only one with this problem. At least 3 more people can't upload and one of them even commented in here.

And i've tried to upload via multiupload with 2 different computers, with different settings and even different Os, and the result is the same. It's not just a problem of mine.

 

Can you try to upload directly on the website? and let me know the result? Also you can try with FTP client.

kiko81 - I don't know how many times I have to say it's a multiupload issue not filesonic. Filesonic is fine. use FIH ( http://www.z-o-o-m.eu ) if you want an app. Or use web browser or FTP.

 

My problem is that a) i have a slow upload speed, and therefore i need to upload during the night, while i sleep and b) the computer i use to upload during the evening is old and many uploading programs dont work, including FTP and even File Uploader. The only way i could ever upload with that computer is to megaupload, using the site or using the multiupload batch uploader, even if i am only uploading to one host.

The point is i need the multiupload tool to continue using filesonic.

And other thing, when do you guys pay? Isn't it weekly?

The last payment i received was in July 5th, 2011... And in the last tuesday i had more than 15 dolars and the payment wasnt made. Care to explain?

 

Payments are every Tuesday ... for the Last Saturday to Friday .... please make sure you had reached the 15$ on Friday .... if yes then send me your user id by PM and I'll check why.

For your upload issues ... please check with the make of the software, If our site works, ftp works then it's not an issue on our side, every way we allow files to be uploaded works ... then it's the way you are trying to upload that doesn't work...

I can't help you much more than to see if Web, Ftp upload work directly...

Ok. About the uploading i understand, if it's not a problem of yours. It's a shame that i probably wont be using filesonic much in the future due to these problems...

Regarding the payment, i think i had 15 dolars in the last friday and i certainly have more than 15 dolars today.

I was tempted to switch to PPS Fixed 10 today as i've had 10 sales so far this week (8 of those were only 1 month sales @$5.4 each) and had earned about $91...

Glad i didn't as i've just had a lifetime sale (5th one since they started)

Looking forward to next payout...

 

can anyone recomand me a method to upload faster ? a rdp rapid leech sborg etc... ? something cheaper no more then 20-30 $....plz give me some ideas

Is there something wrong with the FTP?
i have 186 files with status Pending, i was uploading them today to eu ftp : 78.140.171.54, 78.140.176.169 are the last two ips i can see in the logs

I've chose that plan ( pay per sale ) to receive my money from Filesonic, but today I have one premium membership sold by one of my files, and when I checked on statistics I saw that I just received ( 5.4 $ ) for it, not ( 10 $ ) !!!

I'm really very confused, If there some mistake in my Filesonic account would you please check it ?

Aha. I see thank you. so I have to changing it to ( Pay per Sale fixed 10 ). but anyway I hope if you make it easier for any user to know that the plan he want it in the make money page is the same one he chose it in his filesonic account, like putting letters or symbols for every plan, in both make money page and user account.

 

I haven't trawled through the thread to find the answer, but are there speed issues on Filesonic these days?
Trying to download a 1.3 GB file and I'm getting speeds of around 70 KB/s compared to the 700-800 I used to get.
I can get quicker speeds as a free user on Megaupload!!!

 

3 sales in the last 5 days. I am really puzzled. Nothing changed, my download stats are fine (even pretty good to be honest) but I experience a huge dropdown in sales. This hasn't happened in a long time. Hope it's over soon.
