    Hi

What speed are you getting? Did you try many servers? It might be a routing issue between your ISP and our servers because we didnt get any complaint about this recently..

It varies,my speeds are between 200kb and 400kb yet over 1mb on other filehosts, rapidshare, hotfile etc, problem is sales have decreased rapidly and dont know the cause, like i said just as a test i put same content files on another host and people downloaded them over twice as much as filesonic ones in same period and found that people who downloaded free and premium had timeouts, speed issues and some could not even download, things have been going faster and not as many complaints but still no sales, ill keep trying but its a little disheartening and especially when i see others get better results and on other filehosts.

thx for looking into my problem Hish, i got and email from Carl and even tho he wasn't able to restore those files he gave me a list of files that we're "lost" in that time so i have at least something to work with, instead of just checking them all.

If i could have one thing added to filesonic i think it would be notification about files being deleted (like an email after those 30days that files (list) will be deleted in next 48hours beacuse they have been inactive), one thing it would be a warning (buy premium or they will be removed) and second it would give you a list of files that are getting deleted

I can imagine that will boost your premium sales aswell.

Just tried download same files one from fserve and one from filesonic got over 1mb from fserve but only 100-500kb from filesonic, have tried this at least 10 times with different files and on other hosts, filesonic speed is the lowest speed i get from any filehost, this might be affecting my sales,is anyone else from uk getting low speed.I contacted my isp and they said there where no issues.

I will have hard time telling people why I have been promoting FS, saying FS are the best and how people should buy premium and can download fast or even make money out of it
and the other end all my FS links are dead.

If you are having difficulties understanding why you have less sales nowadays, this is one of the reason why. Go to the top download sites and count dead FS links and also find the mirror links on other filehost working.

p/s: I still think FS is good filehost but this stupid deletion policy has left me devastated.

** Just got the news from Rome...deleted files cannot be recovered. There goes my effort for past 6 months. Like usual blaming me for not maintaining my premium account and that I should know about this 48 hours rule.
Note to FS, I don't think everyone do know this 48 hours rule, if I do I would not have let my files die, what is paying $5 a month when I am earning so much more than that per day. Now with so many files deleted I can't even buy myself a happy meal.
You should seriously consider set up notifications to ensure everyone knows this rule and same mishaps would not happen again. This is damaging to both filehost and uploader.

    Hi

Our site clearly says "Files kept on servers for 30 days" ... It is your responsibility to read.. We offer one on one affiliate support, but we can not read all the site to you and ask if you understood!

    Hello,

Since Yesterday, I had trouble with the uploads made to FileSonic through Multiupload.

For other hosts, uploads are usually made, but for the FileSonic is not.

There will be a problem with FileSonic, or will the Multiupload?

    Thank you.

    Hi guys

I would like to remind you that active affiliates (with $2 a day average or more and have been working with us for over a week) can request a free premium by emailing me request@ filesonic (dot ) com

Please send me your user ID in the email (the few digits on your referral link)

I will ignore messages that don't meet requirements and don't have the user ID .

I hope you understand why there is a minimum ( people can download a few files and earn a few cents and ask for a free premium)

    Best Regards

    Hish

I just registered to Filesonic. I'm having a weird problem - so far I've uploaded 3 files. I'm certain all three have been uploaded, yet only the first file I uploaded has got registered downloads so far. :S

    Hi

Do you mean you are certain all 3 have been downloaded?

If yes, was the downloader a premium member?

Now you are taunting me. You are helpful but your manners are terrible. Everyone knows it's 30 days, I know it's 30 days. Yes it is my fault to translate that into 30 days for inactive files because you know what that is what most other filehost are practising.

Hish you must be the owner of filesonic because your attitude is not of support service but as if "FS is the only filesharing host available, and you all are stupid people asking stupid things" attitude. Do spend sometime understanding feedbacks. Whatever, based on your attitude you are not good at receiving critics anyway. I am done.

Hey Hish, can you answer the multiupload.com question, or are you just going to ignore it, answering all the others?

At least give us some information. 2 people asked you the same question today.

If Multiupload is a problem because it is giving to all hosts except the FileSonic?

It does not happen with just one person ... but with several.

Are you Hish? I guess not.

I want to hear a answer for him, and not for you.

I tried to upload to other hosts using multiupload for the first time in the last month, and it worked fine, just not to filesonic.

Yes, sorry, I meant that I am certain that they have all been downloaded.

I don't know, as I was saying, only file 1 has got registered downloads. There are no other downloads, even though I know for a fact that file 2 has been downloaded since people were even commentating on the files they downloaded.

Edit: Oh, problem solved, files were not over 1mb.

dude i think he was trying to help you, even though it may have sounded a bit offensive.

jimbo is one of the core members of this thread and has always been friendly and helpful to others (in his own special ways, as we can all see :)). i think you should address people here in a well mannered way, just as you would in real life (so i hope), even if their attitude towards you isn't what you expect. it will make your life easier and ease off frustration :)
