But it seems that those 9 people generated 5000 credits in the first 20 days of the past 30 days and then nothing afterwards.
Very strange.

I have not seen 9 not-moving people with the same round number anywhere else on the list.

But yeah in theory they could all 9 of them have stopped uploading at exactly 5000 credits.

 

Can anyone tell me that files downloaded from Taiwan counted or not?

I have sent you a PM about the issue.
Miraculously I just got Rome online on ICQ just a while ago. He is looking into the issue, quoting he needs response from the IT side to see whether it is possible to recover my files. Unless you have other inputs you want to help me on.

 

Just A Wag, if the file is really active, then it won't get deleted (We give a 48 hour buffer)... This is where it makes sense for the uploader , downloader & us... And of course forcing uploaders to buy premium is just not a good strategy because we want to get uploaders to like us, not hate us... Without our uploaders, we won't last long

WTF...ridiculous if files only have 48 hours life span. Who are you guys? Public leech host? Last time I checked you are a professional filehost.

I have their tags + credits copied in a text file from 4 days ago.
I think I 'discovered' them 8-9 days ago.

Hish can you tell me why filesonic is so slow from uk and yet no other filehost has the same issues,most of my users are from uk and stats and sales are low because of this,i tried same files on different filehost with twice the amount downloaded in similar period,for me its been going bad since May, i used to have 12 to 14 sales using half/half know only 1 sale this month,also noticed the slow speed myself using jdownloader and downloaded a file which took ages and would not fully connect,yet only took a few minutes with fileserve (not my files).Is this because of new infrastructure being set up or something else.

 

Have you ever heard of "the long trail" idea ?

Big filesharers have files spanning over several years, and eventually all these old files generate as much traffic as the brand new stuff, thanks to search indexation and the quantity of data.

Your system is unrealistically absurd, you ought to renew file life by 30 days with every new download of the file.

Otherwise, the internet will quickly become full with DEAD filesonic links, and your reputation will make a shitload of dung look like a gold nugget in comparison.

Yes I understand you very well. And I still say WTF for 48 hours buffer.
I am not going complain further about this issue. Eventually I have nothing to gain. The fact is majority of my good files with FS is gone. Files that created revenue for FS and myself.
Just have to wait for response from Rome to see whether it is possible to recover them. If not, I just have to rely on what is remain with other filehost or quit filesharing.
