Is it true that you cannot restore hacked accounts so all that i have paid is now lost.This is what is says in response to

People get hacked everyday and is not my fault if i got hacked,i dont have trojans keyloggers or any problems with computer only use home computer not on a network and always use strong passowrds but yet someone hacked in to my account recently and changed everything and am awaiting help.

sadly many hacked account cases are being heard of, and hijacking is on the rise..im pretty sure that filesonic loses profits because of that, because the users who's accounts got hacked stop uploading.

Always use some ad blocker software either bundled with antivirus or any other external one's. Also don't enter login details in the format username@password in other file hosts for remote uploading purpose.

 

Someon hacked into my account about 3 hours ago,i have sent a pm to Hish and hopefully he is sorting it out,has far as i know i could access my account earlier and got details of the person who changed email and also changed payment details which i sent to hish and support,now i cannot access my account at all it says my email is not recognized.I also dont use remote upload for filesonic and never have also have adblocker on firefox and use esetnod for antivirus.Took all the precautions yet still got hacked.Had no response from filesonic yet and am wondering if i ever will,this need sorting ot asap and fingers crossed hish or support have got my pms and form,seems funny that tuesday is payday and got hacked today but looked at google and can find alot of sites that have cracked filehosting accounts,which is bad.

 

Who can i contact rather than hish or support,the hackers will worst look get paid by filesonic because of there inability to respond to me asap,am really not happy and am frustrated yet again at filesonic support and no response from hish also.

 

Hi Maverick... I think you misjudged us by saying this... Everyone knows that we are one of the few hosts who take care of issues ASAP...

I am looking into the issue now and don't worry.. The hacker will NOT get paid... Since you sent me the PM a few hours before the payout and we have time to investigate...

You should also know that it is ONLY your responsibility to keep your account safe and we are not responsible if it gets hacked... I try to help as much as I could...

So next time before you blame us for anything, you should read our TOS & FAQs first

Hi Maverick0923 you are lucky that you chose the most reliable support Hosting site & there you go Hish will rescue your account straight away although today was a payout day still you got instant help. so that why i always said filesonic was always my first choice & i love fileosnic very much

 

Am sorry for the rant Hish and am not blaming you or filesonic but did read faq and tos and am just frustrated because i have took all precautions and still this happened,i probably went a bit to far for blaming you and filsonic i apologize and thank you for your support,the thing is i left hotfile 3 years ago because of the inabilty to solve my hacked account and the hacker got paid a lot of money from my account and i never went back,sadly this will not been the case and would just like to point out to everyone that hish does a great job as well as the others at filesonic for making there filehost the best it can be,support also.Also your right Sammy.thats also the reason i chose filesonic because have never had any problems with support and hopefully will get my account back soon.

 

Maverick, you are right...It can be very frustrating, and this is why we don't judge you by your reactions to this incident so soon after it happened. Anyone would have reacted this way and it is perfectly natural. I am CERTAIN that Hish will sort it out.

Hey , no worries... All I care about is that our affiliates are well taken care of ... But in return, respecting us at all times is what we need

I suggest you change your username, password, email & security question as soon as it is resolved...

You have been with us for very long and I really don't want to loose you, but if it happens and the hacked gets paid, unfortunately, we can not pay you back for that... Watch out where you save your user/pass ... Make sure that your username is not the same as your username on any board... Also watch out not to use a third party software that can not be trusted.. I would also ask you to watch out on which hosts you save your user/pass for Remote upload .

So if i get it right you still pay the hacker that has stolen my account into a account of there choosing,surely something can be done and stop them from recieving the money ,i gave all the details i could and am still patiently waiting and while i wait someone is using my account gettting the benifits of my hard work and nothing can be done just like hotfile,i may have to rethink using filesonic thats if i get my account back and wonder what state the hacker has left it,I have no problems with filesonic or hish but this is sad for me and luckily i get my account back fully intake and losing money is bad and makes me think seriously about carrying on all for nothing.
