WTF is file removed for Corruption

 

How can a file be removed for "DMCA", without being posted on any website, ever?!!! It was removed one hour after being uploaded, without being posted anywhere... ?!!

 

@above - change the hash on all files, they block files by hash now, just like rapidshare.

 

It happens because the file is exactly the same with some file that was reported. Always change name and password when you upload to make your files different from what the original uploader had.

 

amount showing in my payments tab is wrong yesterday it was 158.3 $ unpaid then it gets divided by 10 and showing 15.8$ also the total paid amount was also divided by 10 and now its showing only 21.83 $ as todays earnings is 6 $ till now

 

Oh yeah... i dont know why... I'm having that problem right now... I didnt touch anything to my files.... never ever tried to download my own files.. but when i checked in my account and i saw some of files removed "reason is Corruption"

So i have to reupload those files again... hmmmm

One question guys for all the users?

Do you have corrupted files in the last 4 days?

Yesterday I noticed 4 new files corrupted and today the same corrupted files are OK? Have anybody experienced sth like that?

 

No corrupted files since 24.04.

But I fear, that Filesonic could become the same serious problems like RS and Hotfile.

 

LAst Qeustions: How much i need downloads for 1 credit ? Sorry for newbie qeustions X.x

That is impossible, since I was the original uploader. It was a brand new archive, with different names and different files in it, there was NONE like it ever uploaded(some of the files inside the archive were previously posted, but I added more files and created a new archive, with a new name, split in different sizes)...The only thing that I can think, is that I copied the files in a folder that previously contained reported files...

 

You get 1 credit for every 100 downloads.

For sales: 100 credits for 1 sale, 20 credits for sale coming through your website/blog.
