DO NOT USE FILESERVE read below

I have sent this as pm to Rickyfs as Fileserve at moment have ripped me and many other premium members off, as they lock out your premium functions without warning and without responding to emails and support tickets, it has happened to many people, see google for proof

this is the message I sent him

I have emailed your company and sent 2 support tickets as I keep getting a ITW warning, I have a 2 year premium membership with your company and have only used 3 months of it and now I cannot downlaod or upload due to it, I have read that fileserve have done this to many premium members for no reason and without any communication, I have also read that you can sort it out so I will send messages to you here and on other forums hoping to get a response and this addressed, either by allowing my premium membership to do what i paid it to do or a refund.

If anyone can tell me of any other ways to get hold of them to rectify this it would be appreciated, when and if fileserve sort this I will make another post accordingly but I am doubtful based on what I have read and the lack of response via official channels too them.

i don't see what they would try to take any shortcuts cause then that lowers the value not only for their advertisers but for their affiliates. the more value you put into your stakeholders the more value you raise in your company. they should have no reason to try to 'trick' people, it'll only hurt themselves

Ricky fs,Maybe you should have a look at your new software, because innocents are being banned for no reason. I am a premium user of your so called UNLIMITED downloads policy.I pay you good money to use your service. I use "internet download manager". and for some bullshit reason you have banned my account, with no explanation. and simply because you can. And I dont share the account with others. Well guess what. You cant treat paying customers with this type of contempt and hide behind a computer server. It wont be long before fileserve goes the way of the DODO ...oh and Hotfile.

No but you use it - you integrated it into your site, and we as end users encounter it on your site. Simple fact is that recapcha has been getting harder and harder to read - I sometimes have to refresh it as much as 20 times before I get one I 'might' be able to read. And of course it's no good just trying it to see if I've got it right because if I haven't then the system will say I need to wait 600 secs or whatever even though no download was ever initiated (how could it be - capch stopped it before it was ever authorised !!!).
I'm not really blaming FS for re-capcha's crappyness, but you can't just put someone elses code on your website then force users to go through it, whilst at the same time saying 'not our problem' when it doesn't work properly. You put it there and we are your customers - it IS your problem.

fileserve use the excuse that your IP address is blocked here in UK so you can't download premium when you have premium membership , they have from searching google been doing this for several years.

Basically way round it is use a virtual VPS such as cyberghost to log onto your account, or use private browsing in firefox to log into your premium account.

Or get refund from these lying beeps.

As if a service was blocking my IP address to my premium service then it would also block me from even getting onto their site, also the IP to my ISP would automatically be blocked even when using private browsing to Fileserve as the ISP still can see which sites you visit.

So fileserve do not care about UK premium users in slightest, when my premium runs out will not be using them again and will be creating a web campaign site against Fileserve and the other companies they trade under.

I registered solely to say that I have been having the exact same problem. Don't bullshit me and tell me it's an error on my end. I use a couple other such sites as well and even had to enter recaptcha here to register. None of the other site's recaptchas ever had any problems, except on fileserve. I was happily downloading stuff for a few weeks and then suddenly I get the same error as these guys on any file I tried to download. I completely gave up for a while but decided to try again after I've switched to a different JR45 connector port on my modem ( different connectors get a different IP ). Suddenly FS worked again ( again not sure if it was the switch or the time I waited )...for a couple of days. Now I'm stuck with the same problem. I've tried different browsers, cleared the cache as I've read somewhere it might help for some reason. Nothing works. Screw FS - I'm glad I tested it out ( and read this little article over here ) before purchasing any of their deals. I'm also glad I read Rickyfs's posts and see firsthand how courteous and professional FS people are. Guess fsonic and megashares will have to do.

FileServe is the worst hosting site I have ever used. The only reason I bought a months worth of downloading privileges was because it seemed to be well used. After buying a months subscription and coming to the end of that sub I can deduce that the only reason seems to be rewards for uploaders, because those downloading like myself will get a shoddy service and you might as well use torrents for all the good it does paying for it.

The downloads always start off pretty quick, not full speed but fairly quick, but the speed soon drops off, and slows to a crawl. You may get lucky when disconnecting a download and starting it again, maybe you might finish off downloading that last 5 megs of your download, but don't get your hopes up.

RS seems to be falling out of favour, and I think most of that is because of uploaders privileges. As a downloader the service is just not worth it, it's terrible.

So I shall not be returning to the Fileserve community. I've learnt my lesson. If anyone reading this is thinking of buying this 'service', I'd urge you to reconsider, because it's not worth the money or the hassle.

Lmao I've used fileserve only to download a few OSTs that I wanted in my music collection. And I gotta say that fileserve is pretty shitty when it comes to having decent consumer service.

First off, there's that horrible captcha that it uses.
Then there's the fact that after getting the captcha right (after failing the previous input) the server decides that you should get a time out because you ENTERED THE FUCKING CAPTCHA. Rather than actually hitting the download button. And even when I get to the download button, most of the time it is unresponsive. (And no, I don't have an extremely limited bandwidth or a slow network.)

It seriously does not make any sense at all. I've had good service from mediafire, megaupload, rapidshare (they have been improving recently), filesonic, 4shared, and etc.
I have even used foreign filesharing websites that offered much better service than that piece of shit website.

Whoever decides to download from FileServe or think they should invest in a premium membership, DON'T DO IT. You are wasting your money for a complete bullshit service. Go spend it on something useful.
