Share Resell is a small File Host Reseller situated in Hong Kong. We sell premium accounts in Hong Kong Dollars, US Dollars and Euros. www.shareresell.com We sell premium accounts for the following hosts: 4Shared, EasyShare, FileFactory, FILESERVE, Hotfile, LetitBit, uGotFile and Uploading. My post here is to get input from other resellers of Fileserve accounts to see if my experience is typical or extraordinary. Here is our situation: 1. We applied for a reseller position and quickly received confirmation of our success. 2. We paid the minimum amount of US$200 into a bank account in Hong Kong. 3. We received a reseller id (018963FSAR) and given 2.50% discount. 4. We processed our first Fileserve client. No problems. Very happy. ========== 5. Fileserve suddenly blocks Hong Kong !! ========== 6. Fileserve announces that existing Premium users can still use their accounts in Hong Kong. 7. Suddenly no one is applying to buy a new Fileserve account! 8. We get emails from customers asking what is going on with Fileserve. 9. We email Fileserve and ask them directly what is going on (see email list below) 10. We email clients and tell them that we have contacted Fileserve for clarification. 11. We receive no answer from Fileserve .... 12. We wait... We resend our emails to Fileserve and wait some more. Email list of people we contacted at Fileserve: rickychan@fileserve.com chris@fileserve.com reseller@fileserve.com finance_rs@fileserve.com application_rs@fileserve.com customercare@fileserve.com Customer Care at Fileserve told us that this was not their problem and that we should talk to Business Developement - they did not gives us an email address with which to contact Business Development! Fileserve has not yet answered any of our emails! Not one single message has been received, no help, no interest at all. This is the ONLY file Host we have ever had any problem contacting. It seems to us that because we initially paid US$200 into a Hong Kong bank account (the Kwun Tong branch of HSBC here in Hong Kong) that Ricky Chan is probably the closest contact we have for Fileserve. This may or may not be true, but since he has never answered our messages we don't actually know for sure. Yet despite contacting him via email and face-book we have still to get a single email reply from him answering the simple question, "What's Going On!" Finally we were left thinking that the "Reseller" program is a simple scam. So, we contacted the email addresses below again and demanded our money back via the same bank we paid into in Hong Kong (Fileserve uses HSBC in Hong Kong as their bank and so do we). Guess what? No reply!! We think that chris@fileserve.com did the initial business development and rickychan@fileserve.com deals with other stuff. It is sad that they have both decided not to answer my questions - or my request to repay our money and remove us from the "Reseller" program. So, has anyone else had problems like these with Fileserve? With Fileserve now not accessible in Hong Kong without a pre-existing Premium account how is a reseller here expected to sell new accounts? It appears they took our money then ditched us. Have they ditched you too? Again, we are confused by the silence from Fileserve. If anyone has information that will help us wrap up this business I'd very very happy to listen. We simply want our money back and have nothing further to do with Fileserve. Help us if you can.
Too bad ... I think you were just CONNED. Please update this thread for any developments on this issue.
RickyFS of digitalpoint.com informs us that he is not Ricky Chan of Fileserve.com ============================ Original Post changed to reflect this change ============================
I was not arguing to you man. And i dont have anything personal to threat i just saw his words and i thought to reply. Thats it.
Chris (chris@fileserve.com) Business Development Manager of Fileserve has emailed us (28 October 2010 19:51) and said that he will ask his manager to approve a refund. We have agreed to remove Fileserve links from our website (done) and update this post to reflect that the problem has potentially been resolved (done) When we receive payment I will update this post here again and change the subject to "Fileserve Resell Program (Resolved)" to let you know that Fileserve has honoured their promise and the problem is fully solved.
28 October 2010 19:51 Email from received by Share Resell with the promise of a refund. Emailed chris@fileserve that we have complied with his requests. 29 October 2010 20:41 Emailed chris@fileserve that we have updated this thread. Awaiting news of the promised refund in good-faith... Fileserve's Requests to complete the promised Refund: (1) Ensure that all weblinks are taken down ... All links on our website have been completely removed. (2) ... forum post is removed ... We do not have edit rights on this board so only moderators can do this. We have emailed them to ask them to remove this post for us. We have replied to this post ourselves to show readers what transpires - this seems appropriate and fair given what we are abe to do. (3) ... subject is changed etc etc. Again we do not have edit rights on this board so only moderators can do this. We have emailed them to ask them to remove this post for us. Please note that the subject of this thread is generic in form and is unlike FileServe's own thread which contains the words OFFICIAL FILESERVE THREAD. We have done all we can do to comply with these demands. And now await the promised refund in good-faith.
