Files transfer from one host to another !

I am planning to change my hosting service , I have around 10 blogs up on my old hosting account (using addon domain option) and I want to transfer all files to new host , moving each blog separately is really too much difficult and time consuming . Is there any other way to transfer all the files in one go ?

Looking forward for some positive comments !

    Thanks in advance .

Moving one at a time might be time consuming but it's probably still the best way to do it, particularly if each blog uses it own database.

It won't take that long, and moving one site at a time helps you deal with any problems that arise during the transfer and set-up on the new host - something invariably happens. Once you've done one, and sorted out any bugs, the rest will follow quickly. Just have some patience. It's important for the reliability and stability of your site that everything is set-up correctly and tested, don't try to save a few minutes at the start because you might come to regret it later.

If you're hosted on cPanel you can simply create a backup of the whole account and give it to the new host support so they can restore it on their servers, this way there is almost no work on your part and you'll have your account moved from the old host to the new host intact.

The easiest way would be to, if you have shell access, tar.gz the entire directory where each of the blogs files are stored. After this, wget them on the new host's server (again, if you have SSH access), untar.gz the files, thus restoring the original file architecture, and then move over the mysql database(s), either manually, or with mysqldump. It's a pretty simple process.

    Its easy.
Just let your new host know your previous host login, then they will do the transfer for free.

I believe that good web host should offer this service for free to incentivate new clients to signup! Anyway with cPanel you can do miracle also by yourself!

    Good Luck!

If you have chosen a good host then they will do it for free because site transfer is not a difficult task for host. Try this now.

Talk to the new host and tell them to get all the stuff and move
