Files/Folders won't delete from my ftp!!

Hi there,

Just a minor problem, i use AceFTP 3 and think it's great, have always used it, but i'm running into a problem where i can't delete certain folders because it comes up with an error saying "Cannot delete folder, folder not empty"

Or something similar. Does anyone have any information on this please?

The errors sounds self-explanatory. Empty the contents of the folder, then try removing it. Either that, or try a different FTP client.

Better have a look on smartFTP, you will like it

 

Initially, i thought it was permission problem..
Try delete the folders in that 'folder' first and whether it will works..

Yeah i previously used it can't remember what happened though, thanks =]

That's what i thought maybe, but it doesn't appear so, neither will it delete the folder/files inside that specific files.

I'll try smartftp and see if that gives me anything. I also used the link someone posted but SSH is disabled through my host.

Try to get SSH from Host and then you can try this method.. posted HERE
