Hello FilePost support
I just tested FilePost hosting site and I must say it's quite good in my opinion :)
but I think that one thing should be improved - Maximum download file size for free (non premium users)
Is there any chance to increase this from poor 400 MB to 1 GB ? or at least give uploader the choice which files can be downloaded by free/non registered users for example option to choose and switch 400 MB or 1 GB

There is one actually, please check once again.

Actually, we plan to make this option flexible for partners - thus partners will decide themselves what size limit would be enabled for their files.

We hope to enable RU from FileSonic as soon as possible, as for WUpload - we are waiting for some details from WU, after that hope to return the option back.

Also, FTP is working properly now - please check that.

Only flexible, for me not alway 1 GB would be better than 400 MB. So this change should be available as option for those who need it.

Hello to everyone!

Yep, we are glad to announce that premium users can now upload files up to 5GB each! That was requested by multiple partners, and we are glad it is possible now.

@Filepost - great news - but I think you need to improve network speed
[IMG]
that is from my 1000mbit .nl (evoswitch) based server which reaches up to 90MB/s to filesonic, wupload etc...

Most likely, the reason is not in our network speed, since our 10GBit channels are not even occupied totally. Low speed can be caused by an inefficient route from your provider to our US servers for example or by some other reasons.

Thus I would like to mention once again that comparison of the speed values to wupload/fso servers in Europe and speed to our USA servers is not worth at all. That is why in order to ensure that we do not depend on multiple factors we are setting up new servers in Europe soon.

I upload to fileserve at 10MB/s per file so... they are located int he US. and quite a few filesonic servers are in the US too

I see. I would like to assure you that our channels are not occupied, thus taking into consideration large available bandwidth and far from peak load, the speed is supposed to be high. And we get different feedback about the upload speed - some partners are really satisfied with the upload speed value while other are discontent.

Thus we hope new servers in NLs will make speed stable for all those users who upload from Europe.

Go to My Files section and set the export format that you need with the Gel Links tool. For instance you can use: #NAME# - #SIZE#. And thus you can generate as many HTML codes as you need. Also on this week we will update this tool and make it possible to save your export format.
