i have added many filesonic links to remote upload and all working fine.

which filehost are you trying to remote upload from? may be the that filehost have blocked filepost's servers.

 

Just finished some Wupload files with RU and they were also good too.

 

im using rapidshare . Shall try w-upload

Ok so it seems i am just stuck in queue regardless of the filehost

It's not the speed that is the issue, its the fact they are just stuck in queue

 

try with filesonic & wupload links it will work fine.

if result in error simply retry till it complete, filepost's remote upload is one of the best when compared to other hosts.

 

I tried with w-upload but again am always sat in hours in the queue. Have spent all off today in the queue

 

then simply wait till it start. may be their servers are experiencing increased load at this time.

 

it's sunday..even filepost's servers seem to take a nap on sunday Queueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

Absolutely not true. The reason of slow upload speed during weekends sometimes is cause much more files are uploaded on Friday, Saturday and Sunday what causes lower speed values.

 

Its not about saturday,sunday etc.I personaly can not upload anything since november 23.Ftp speed is about 10-15kb/sec and remote upload giving Error,error and again error.

I can see that your top uploaders can use ftp and remote upload without any problem,but the rest can not.
Please explain me,how is that?

Finally found out from support that only the top uploaders have priority and are based on sales. Everyone else is stuck , meaning those who are in the process of creating their megaposts are going to take forever.

Filepost , a megathread takes time to develop and i cannot ever get it up if i cannot upload. I am also a premium user and have paid to in theory get a better service. When will the upload issues be fixed?

Guess ill have to get my thread up unfinished. It wont have the same impact though

 

The thing is not about top uploaders who work with sales plan. The system can control upload process, thus if too many files are uploaded for example, they may have lower priority - these are temporary limitations in order to decrease the system load. And as I mentioned, peak load moments (weekend) are also important, we should not forget about that.

Filepost remote upload system is one of the best, if any one call this bad then what about fileserve, filejungle etc they don't even have option to add popular hosts filesonic, wupload etc.

 

you're right there dkp - personnally I wouldn't recommend relying on remote uploading, I would try getting a server and uploading from there

 

The good thing about RU is that i can have a storage backup on a different host
