Obviously FP should have never cited production as a reason for terminating his account. But let's not pretend that the site is a scam. This is an isolated incident that occurred because of how extreme his violations were. 9 TB in 4 days of nothing but DMCA violating content is just too much for any site to handle. It would be irresponsible of them to not take some form of action. As long as you guys aren't taking things to such extremes you won't have this sort of problem. I had a similar experience with FiSonic, and they actually kept my money, but I had the sense to realize that it was an isolated incident and didn't go on a smear campaign despite how upset I was.

Mrbowman is actually the one that is lying. FP never said that WU shut down because of DMCA violations. All they said was that they didn't want to be become the next WU... not because of DMCA but because you have 9 TB of DMCA violating content uploaded in 4 days. That cost money and it is not financially viable for them to allow such things. He also keeps saying that they didn't pay him. It states in the e-mail and several times in FP posts that he is being paid. Is it so difficult to figure out that it takes time to process payments? I would not be surprised if you were banned from this forum for spreading such lies.

You are right both, but this reminded me to some other file hosting services that are banned accounts without notice.

FilePost be honest and say how much material is actually a fully legal and original in your servers!? It is my personal opinion that is very little of this type of materials is stored not only on your services but on file hosting services at all! It is a constant battle between the big no-compromise companies and people with free mind. I support personal property but do not support the no-compromise enrichment of individuals or companies. As long as most of the profit goes to original authors of materials, inventions or innovations, i agree that this person should be protected with copyright. But if on the basis of someone's hard work, the companies and managers are becoming richer and richer, and the original authors receives a minimal part of profit for their work, i does not support this.

So there are a two options. You will continue to ban and delete accounts of major uploaders and soon will all uploaders that make you a most of profit will leave you, or you will not ban these accounts and after a some period of time you'll end up on the Hollywood companies blacklist. The middle does not exist... There are attempts to not ban complete accounts, just to delete unsuitable files, but this solution again leads to one of these two mentioned options.

Of course there is a solution, but companies that enrichment with no-compromise not want to adapt to new time and to technology development. If for example file hosting services give uploaders 25% of earningst, 25% of earnings take for himself, and give 50% of earnings to the companies that hold copyrights for specifc file, i think that all would be happy. This companies should look at people without jobs, who want to upload and promote their products, as on the workers not as the worst enemies!

So how any of us can be sure that one day our accounts will not be banned?

this is all time I got deleted form filepost and they telling me I got so much DCMA deletion it snot ever over 50 links I directly deleted thoose mails didnt even reuploaded

I would undrustend it and I walk away but this banning people is show how filepost is not honest to people beucase I asked filepost here I will upload movies do you mind and they said no DKP alsa asked and filepost write its ok now they come to me and telling you are blocked mate we dont want you anymore this rudest act I ever seen

 

I think this case is really an exception when it comes to normal affiliates who use Filepost. Having 4.5 TB of data uploaded in a few days is really a big problem for everyone, filepost and other users as well. OF COURSE your case will be sticking out from the whole, that's just plain obvious. "Not productive" might also mean giving a lot of free downloads (big ones), giving out a lot of download bandwith, and receiving some sales for it. There are people who are able to make as much sales with less than a 100 GB, you are only relying on size which, in my opinion, isn't much of a file-sharing knowledge at all.

I really don't want to compare my work with Filepost to yours and think that 'this might happen to me', your case is heavily isolated for doing something like that. And no, I don't share Hollywood movies, I don't need to in order to get sales. I spend my days learning how to be more "productive" or efficient with LESS rather than trying to make size do the job for me. Trying to convince others that their sharing is like yours and that this will necessarily happen to them, is just pathetic. Everybody can see this is a special occurence with their own eyes.

It's good that you were even paid for this, other hosts would just give you a boot in the ass and a GFY, and they probably wouldn't bother contacting you and even tell you the reason of the ban.

I don't really understand how you believe that a filehost (ANY filehost) is supposed to help you out with your "sharing of movies" when you ask them - you or anybody else. Obviously they'll say no, it's what a filehost has to say, and it has to be like that, it's just completely redundant to ask.

Hmm... weird situation, I hope they don't turn out like hotfile as well they have been an amazing host over the last 5 months. I have earnt over $400 a month with these guys on average, and right now im earning about $300/week...
