    Let me start by saying I am very happy with the service in general. The site is awesome, the PPS rates are perfect, and the marketing options are wonderful.

    However, and this a very big however, there is a major bug currently affecting the site that needs to addressed here. I contacted tech support about this but no progress has been made. Normally, when one downloads a file and gets put on timer it says "You just wait #time# before downloading another file" etc etc. But FilePost seems to have a major bug that causes the message to instead say "Your download is not found or has expired. Please try again." THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. People think my files are dead when they're not. Instead of buying premiums, people are reporting my links as dead and getting my forum/board posts deleted. They are complaining to me in e-mails and comments. It has become a problem that I can no longer tolerate. The timer message is a key moment in selling premiums memberships, and it's not only being wasted, but is actually causing harm. I must cease from using the service until this is corrected. I will continue to monitor this thread and my open support ticket and as soon as it's fixed I will switch back.

    Anonamix, the reason of such an error can be the following - it can happen when a user's file link for download is ready, however he does not open it/save the file for a long time - thus the link gets expired. However you mention several similar reports from your users - and sure that needs to be looked into by our engineers. Please pm me your e-mail address or id in our system, so I could monitor your account.

    No. This is not the case. This is not some odd isolated incident. This is every file all the time. It is 100% repeatable. Log out. Download a file. Once that file is finished, try to download another file. The 30 second timer will not start. It instead goes straight to Captcha and once the Captcha is correctly entered it gives the "Your download is not found or has expired. Please try again." popup instead of the cooldown timer. I have tested this on 4 different computers now using both Firefox and IE. It happens EVERY TIME with EVERY FILE. I have found zero exceptions. The only way to see any other message is by attempting to re-download the file you originally downloaded. Then, nearly every time it says that you are still downloading a file. 1 time of the many attempts I actually got it to show the cooldown timer on the original downloaded file. I explained all this fully to tech support.

    I do not feel like this is being taken seriously which is insane to me. You are losing a huge number of sales because of this. You don't need my account. It happens with all accounts. I seriously can not figure out how you guys are not noticing such a huge, obvious bug. Do I have to make a vid of it for you to understand?

    First of all, let me not agree with you - we DO take all issues and problems seriously and always admin possible issues. And lots of proof can be found in this thread - we investigate and address all issues.

    The thing about this issue - I have just followed your description in FF and Chrome ( as a free unlogged user) and could successfully start the second file download after the first one had been downloaded. What means this issue is not that simple and needs investigation - that is why I have asked for your partner account id - we will need to check your files, however not sure whether the reason is in that.

    Also, if that was true for all files, we would not have those hundred of thousand downloads happening successfully every day.

    I do not argue with you, I just try to get more details from you in order to make investigation. Hope you understand that.

    But this is wrong. You should not be able to download the file either. You should be on cooldown. If you were not signed in, you should be waiting 30/60/90 minutes before downloading another file. So this statement makes no sense.

    Hi sorry if I'm sticking my nose into this conversation beetween you...but what Anomanix is saing is true: Imean I tried few minuts ago to download a file from my account as a free user,than an other one and at the second one I got the message that Anomanix was saying: "Your download is not found or has expired. Please try again."... so Itried with an other files...same thing...tried it 4 times...please take a look at this issue...

    The first file was a small one, that is why I could start a second file download really fast. Do not think I am making false statements here please.

    Anyway, I have found your account and we are making investigation on your question and will try to reproduce the issue. That may take some time since it is not trivial. I appreciate your patience here.

    When you downloaded the 2nd file, did it trigger the 30 second delay?

    I also just tested this behind a Polish proxy to see if it was regional and still experienced this issue. I am using Win dows 7 64-bit, Firefox 7.0, and IE 9.0.

    If you are asking me, then the second file asked me to wait for the link as usually and i could start the download. But I mean the situation when i started the second download after the first one had been successfully completed.

    Blackclouds reported the situation - when the first download is cancelled, next one is expired - this one I could reproduce and it is forwarded to the engineers.

    It is now working well! After a small download I was given a 3 minute mini-cooldown (which is good in my opinion) and was able to download the next file normally. After that I downloaded a larger file and was given a more significant timer.

    A suggestion for future build consideration. The confirmation overlay messages for instance when uploading files a message will come up with something like "one file added" and you need to click ok to rid of it. How about an option to show/not show these messages with a check box.
    That one is particularly annoying because the overlay is transparent enough to see its been added.
