I confirm this! Something's funny going on indeed. I believe that this is an issue with bigger files. like more than 500 mb. starts downloading, then drops, then starts again...

On Saturday there was a problem with the channels to our EU servers (as was mentioned here, from 5 to 40% of packets could have been lost on the way - that was something our hosting company fixed actually). That is why some part of files for upload and download could have problems (only EU servers and only some files).

@downsex.org - we encourage you to continue working, I am sure you will get good results.

 

I confirm this, something extremely weird is going on. I downloaded some of my files as free and they don't get registered as downloaded throughout the whole day (checked it the next day). The download counter isn't working well. Yesterday I had a specific number of downloads till 22:40 at evening (growing throughout the day) when I went to sleep, today I see more than twice as much of downloads being written as counted in the last hour. There was no "boom" on any file for this to happen. I will still have to make tests from different IPs as free user to my account to see if downloads get registered, but it really seems that the counter is lacking behind heavily and even forgets to show the download. You should really update it with more speed and check it up with a lot of free user downloads from different IPs to see if things are working well every time.
I understand that a lot of people are uploading files and the servers are under a lot of of strain but it's really no reason for the free downloads that happen to not show up at all.
I love filepost, but I really have to invite other users to make some tests like this themselves. This is quite a serious matter than requires checking up.

 

First of all, if you downloaded files from your own machine (even from different IP addresses) - such downloads won't be counted since we use flash-cookies for that. If you do more tests with help of your friends and if there are any issues - sure, please let us know.

Also, as for the statistics - the fact that it renews suddenly may be related to the fact that it caches in the browser.

who's using a revshare plan? share your september rebill numbers. it's around 30% for me in Sept. not impressive. oron is around 60%.

Also, I'm getting 35 kb/s as free user.

 

the site is really slow for the last couple of days. takes forever to login, often unsuccessfully. same issue today with occasional 500 errors.

 

I have not had those issues, I saw the 502 erorr about 1 hour ago which has since been resolved
