I get the following error from the dp site when trying to use this tool: Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to x.x.x.x:5003 in /home/.sites/28/site1/web/tools/fmserverprobe/index.php on line 66 Could not connect to database server at specified IP address.
Ok. Not that it is even worth the time, but is there a way to code the page such that it returns just that as an error, ie., server not running FM or port 5003 is blocked? In any event, the IP I was hitting is running FM Server, it is on, and functioning, however I get a connection refused when attempting to connect via the command line. I do not remember blocking that port, at least not to myself.. Me thinks it is time to look at my access lists.. Thanx!
True.. First time I ever noticed it. Kinda makes you wonder what good it is? Anyway, I am an idiot keyed in the wrong hostname for our FM server... It's all goooood. Thanx.
