Selling FileBucks - Pay Per Download

Traffic and leads are really picking up on the site now. More & more files are being uploaded which I can only assume is causing the drive as people link to their downloads from other sites. Very exciting.

I've had a lot of interest and offers via PM's, but just to clarify I'm not prepared to take a BIN. I'd just prefer to let the auction run it's duration.

MASSIVE UPDATE:

We are now pleased to announce the launch of "EasyEarn", brand new and unique to FileBucks. FileBucks is the ONLY pay per download website on the web to offer customizable download pages and alternate methods of earning.

Users by default are set to earn via the normal method, whereby they upload a file and a visitor is required to fill in a survey in order to download it. The user who uploaded the file is then given a percentage of the survey earnings. These earnings are typically high, but of course filling in a survey is sometimes offputting and can turn potential downloaders away.

Introducing "EasyEarn".. This new method allows users to switch from the normal method to a new method which we have appropriately named "EasyEarn". Rather than having to fill in a survey a visitor landing on the download page simply has to sit through a series of offers before gaining access to the file. Whilst this pays out less to the user, it is much much easier for the user to get downloads so earnings will balance out whichever method they choose. HOWEVER, whilst this pays out less to the user, it certainly doesn't pay out less to us. These offers pay very highly!

Our system detects that the visit is healthy, i.e. not a returning user, has actually sat through the offers etc etc. If the visit isn't healthy the download earnings won't be awarded to the user, simple as that.

Its over $1,000 thats all I'll say. Had numerous offers well above.

 

How would the admin check this?

So each member gets given 250MB space, so if there were 1000 members = I would need a max of 250GB?

Is there alternative ways to make the user download the content, because I got this message and there are no ways to download the file unless I live in a different country that allows me to fill in the survey.

I've heard a few other sites that uses the same niche and concept. Please tell me how this could be better than them?

The system is automatically set up to check this for you through various means. The system has been very carefully thought out and does allow for leniency to a certain extent however you still have extensive tracking in the admin panel to monitor things manually.

Quota can be managed in the admin panel, however the majority of users tend to upload text files, .doc or .pdf and these seem to be the biggest earners so space hasn't really been an issue as noone has took advantage of the full assigned amount.

With regards to the issue of alternate download, there isn't any for the simple reason that this could potentially be exploited. However the reason you are seeing that message is because the amount of surveys available is proportional to the amount of leads you generate, the more leads you generate the more surveys become available.. Since we've just been laid dormant the past year until now our leads have still being getting generated but only trickling in as opposed to now where we are having a good few leads daily and this will only increase with time.

Why is it better than the others?

Download page has been monetized with a banner ad for a test & is currently seeing a CTR of 8%.

 

Are all cpa internationnal?
what happen if a nepal user or other country does a usa cpa how does the money goes?

If you begin generating enough leads you will find offers available that cover petty much every country. If you really wanted too you could implement a paypal premium account system to let the users skip the download by paying a fee. This would be very easy to add, I could do it in less than hour if you really wanted it - you'd just have to talk to me after the sale.

I would really recommend a dedicated server to run this. This website is going to start generating some awesome amounts of traffic very quickly and you dont want a low performance server to inhibit the visitors experience. Servers in the USA are very cheap, and if in the future you do find you need to upgrade this will be proportional to growth so your revenue will always take care of the server.

Yeah there are plenty of offers already and many more offers will become available as the site grows. Been an absolutely brilliant morning this morning, every user who's clicked a user has actually gone through and completed it.

Thanks jackderips, I understand where you're coming from but someones going to pick up a very exciting website with a heck of a lot of potential for a very low price here by the looks of it!

 

Just to add I will be providing support both after and during the transition of servers.
