Selling FileBucks - Pay Per Download

FileBucks LTD was setup in April 2011, however was shortly after left dormant due to problems with the administrative functions because of bad development. We were unfortunate, we chose the wrong company. We made a mistake and it cost us big time, we now didn't have enough funding to continue on with the website.

Finally the site has now been fully re-developed & was launched on June 17th just gone.

Since launch we have received around 150 daily uniques along with 2,000 daily pageviews.

In just 7 days the site received in excess of 200 members and 200 uploads.

The site is fully unique, and is the only pay per download site on the web to feature fully customizable download pages.

The admin backend is extremely powerful, and the script now runs fully self automated. It has carefully planned logic to allow for self suspending of users which are then sent for review to the admin.

The site has amazing earning potential, even when left dormant this site was producing in excess of $300 each month. Download pages could be optimized with Adsense too, I have purposely left a space in the top right of the header.

I would love to keep this business myself but unfortunately I run another very large business & in all honesty I just don't have the time for two. You may have asked well why did I have it re-developed? The sole purpose of that was to sell. The site had an amazing amount of potential, too much to just let it go to waste. I want someone else who can give it the attention and drive it needs and turn it into something amazing. I want to be able to say, I founded that.

Sensible bids guys. Any questions feel free to ask.

Here are all instances of withdrawals: http://i47.tinypic.com/2klug6.png

Please note these were requested early which resulted in a 20% fee. These where earned during the period where the site was left completely dormant. No advertising was done during this period as the site simply couldn't cope with large numbers because of the poor backend development. With the new system in place, new features, and advertising pushed I'm sure you can see the potential.

(Also just to add there is still earnings in my account which haven't yet been withdrawn which of course don't show up on that image, around $50.00).

You have a unique website there. How hard to operate this kind of website? ( Monthly maintainance cost )
Can somebody outside your country be the new owner?

Thank you for the compliments towards the website. It is indeed a very nice website both aesthetically & functionally. In answer to your questions, it is not difficult at all to run this website. It has been developed with ease in mind. The system operates itself and monitors users so that any suspicious activity is automatically detected and accounts automatically suspended & sent for review by an administrator. The admin can then manually view all the users info & history and decide his next actions whether to reactivate the user or ban.

The admin panel notifys you of all recent activity such as file uploads, page modifcations etc etc. You can approve or deny any actions carried out by the users. If you reject them again this reflects on the user.

You do have to pay the users out of your own money yes, but fortunately this has also been carefully planned. There is a $10 minimum cashout limit & a $1 fee applied to all transactions under $30. Most users sign up & only ever reach to about $5, obviously this is too low for them to cash out so you earn 100% of the revenue. For users who earn past the threshold there are settings in the admin panel to decide what percentage you are providing to them.

All payment requests are held in the admin panel payment section and a simply click of a "Pay now" button is all it takes to pay the user & update the records.

Calculations of profit both gross and net are all worked out in the admin panel, along with a graph to show company performance over the course of the year.

I would also like to add this website has a built in affiliate scheme whereby a member referring any new member gets 10% of their earnings as long as they continue earning. This means that the website is self promoting & that the bigger it gets the quicker it grows. Plus, users are also promoting the website as they share their download links. People see the logo & drift off to the main website, get interested & join.

With some money in advertising such as Adwords, Facebook advertising etc etc to get it kicked off this site could blossom very quickly. Everyone want's to make money, and this website allows them to do just that with ease. The members are happy, the members who referred those members are happy (as they are earning 10% of their earnings), and you are very happy sat at the top of the chain.

Hello, in response to your question the income does come from CPA advertisements. Our advertisements come in the form of surveys, as soon as a user clicks the download button the user is prompted with a list of current offers targeted to his/her country. The second the survey is finished the download begins. Surveys take around 30 seconds & are very easy to fill in, usually just yes or no answers.

Please see this link for an example of what the user will see after clicking the download button (the background page fades out): http://i47.tinypic.com/2ywd649.png

Please also note that the banner in the top right of the page is just there as a space filler at the moment, but this area was designed for Adsense or another banner ad publisher. We believe this placement will do very well.

Hope that clears it up for you any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thanks.

Just a bit more on the customizable download pages which I haven't really mentioned. This is the only pay per download site that features editable download pages by the user. Pages are edited and all edits are taken effect immediately, however they are listed in the admin panel by date for denial or approval. If the page is denied this action reflects on the users account standing in the future.

See screenshots from a user point of view of editing their page...

We remove them immediately. All files are listed in the admin panel by date, and each time you log in it notifies you of new uploads. Furthermore it tends to be text files/documents that see the highest number of downloads and it has been noticed that many users choose to host their files elsewhere & simply put them in a password locked archive linking the user over to FileBucks for the password. We considered restricting users to only being able to upload documents (pdf, rtf, txt) etc and images as we didn't believe it would have a great impact on the users that earn, it would just make life easier although manually managing the files isn't the hardest of tasks. You could instruct the users to host their files elsewhere and do as I mentioned with the password, but there isn't a great deal of need as it seems to be common knowledge regarding PPD networks that if you are going to host illegal content do it elsewhere so that you don't get banned. At the end of the day users don't want to lose their earnings so this itself tends to keep the site clean.

Sorry just seen you posted two questions, only noticed the first one. With regards to your second question only 140MB has been used. Like I say the majority of the files tend to be text. :)

Of course, I'll message you in just a moment.

I would just like to add that the traffic is really start to boom & we had 34 members yesterday alone. I haven't put any money into advertising, this website is just promoting itself at the moment & doing a very good job indeed.
