What is FileBucks?
FileBucks is a pay per download website whereby members can sign up, upload their files and get paid each time they are downloaded. I don't think names come any better than "FileBucks" for this type of service.

How does it work?
For a visitor to download a file they must first either fill in a survey or sit through a series of ads. Which they do is dependent on which the uploader has selected. If the uploader has chosen for them to fill in a survey then these typically pay out anywhere between $1.00 to $10.00, we give 80% to the user and take 20% for ourselves but this is changeable in the admin panel. If the uploader has selected the user to sit through a series of ads then these pay out a fixed rate of $0.02 per download. Why would they choose the less paying option? Well we all know surveys are off putting, so depending what type of file they are offering they could earn more in the long run by choosing the less paying option. Whilst this only pays out $0.02 to the user it still pays out quite highly to us.

Traffic
The great thing about this website is it is self promoting. The bigger it gets, the faster it grows.. This is because by members sharing their links, they are actually advertising the website for us. So the more members we get sharing their links, the more members we get wandering from the download page and signing up. Secondaly it is because of our affiliate system. We offer users the chance to refer new members and get 10% of their earnings for life, a very good incentive indeed and it is also a brilliant incentive to get users helping each other to earn. The more members earning the more we earn, so this is in our interests. With some initial drive in Adwords or Facebook advertising or anything similar this website will take off really really quickly.

Revenue
This site was initially launched in April 2011, but the inital development team did a very bad job of the admin panel which we didn't realise at the time. Because of this we couldn't cope with the amount of visits and downloads the site was receiving so we had to hold back on all advertising & leave the site run dormant until we had enough funds to rectify it. The site has been rectified as of June 17th just gone.

The site now features an inbuilt system that will take care of all issues for you automatically. It monitors users, monitors downloads and will automatically suspend users and send them for admin review if any suspicious activity is detected. Whilst all this is in place you can still control everything manually via the powerful admin backend. No other pay per download sites have the advanced systems in place as FileBucks does meaning that it could handle much much more traffic with ease. (Screenshot 1)

Whilst the site was left dormant revenue peaked at $300 a month, which I think you will agree is truely amazing and just shows the sheer amount of potential especially now since the new features have been added. Other than the month it peaked we average between $150 and $200. Still very impressive. Revenue proof can be provided, but please drop me a private message to see it.

Reason for sale
I have another much much larger business which I have recently received a partnership in & we have big plans to progress it in the very near future so my focus will now be diverted to this. You may have asked well why did I have it re-developed? The sole purpose of that was to sell. The site had an amazing amount of potential, too much to just let it go to waste. I want someone else who can give it the attention and drive it needs and turn it into something amazing. I want to be able to say, I founded that. Secondly, my server contract for this website runs out on July 18th so I want a quick sale before that date as I don't wish to renew.

Initally the forum was installed back in 2011 but this was linked with the website so anyone registering at the website would also be setup with a forum account automatically. As of the relaunch we decided to split this to make things more easy to manage as having the accounts linked could cause problems. So the new community was setup on the 17th of June
