    (Without question: it would save EVERYONE a lot of effort just to put it out there to begin with. The only reasons I can think of NOT to put the link in the first post is if it's a DMOZ site, in which case tinyurl would do the trick... or if it's some kind of scam.)

    Pretty site... and may work very well (I didn't try)... but I'm not interested since it requires java. While many people may already have it installed, it's just one more thing that makes it hard for someone to use the site, IMO.

    I understand your point, but to get the benefits that new sites have to offer you usually do have to have additional things installed such as java, flash or other add ons. Most broswers come with Java installed, but its just a matter of preference. You wont find upload sites that have a lot of features unless they have java or other things required to make the site function correctly.
