File-sharing site - Allowed in Google AdSense ?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if file-sharing websites are allowed in Google AdSense terms and conditions, if the file-sharing website is designed to share ONLY non copyright materials.

I think sharing of uncopyrighted material is allowed. Though read their policies to make sure. Anyways, if you give credit to the person who made the content available and also taken his permission if its a copyrighted material then its allowed.

 

Depents on the files you allow people to share. Adult, gamble, copyrighted stuff is a no!

It can be risky though depending on how strict you are with your content, but yes it's allowed.

Can you show me some of the examples ?

Also I dont think if its a big file sharing website, its easy to manage the files and approve it before publishing

 

Adsense is not allowed on a site which doesn't have content. If you have some content, they allow but you can't host any copyrighted files. Just think if one user uploads a copyrighted file and reports to Google, they will immediately block your account.

If you take a look at other file sharing sites, they had Adsense in the beginning but all those sites got banned and vanished within few months.

I've ever seen file-sharing site using adsense. But this is not allowed because it vulnerable to copyright infringement.

 

its definately allowed, until you do not allow people to upload any illegal content, like if you use xfilesharing script, you can dis-allow people to upload file using this name: crack, patch, hack ,etc you want.
