File sharing acceptable for adsense?

Hi,

Does adsense allow file sharing forums? If you don't know what that is, it is a forum where people share files (software , movies, games etc.)

Not in my opinion, go through tos or email google for that. Further there is a possibility if forum shares only shareware than it's okay but warez are not acceptable.

 

definatly not ok. cause if you visit some of the warez forum they also dun have adsense haha.

 

I really doubt using adsense in file sharing sites.

 

Thats not against googles tos i think.

 

It would be advisable that you email adsense about it before you put ads on your site. They are the best people to get in touch with when in doubt.

That will be against ToS. Google does not allow you to place Adsense ads on sites that share copyrighted material.

(Software will also fall into this category).

 

if your files include copyrighted material . it breaks the google tos. but if you mention about the shareware programs , it does not breaks teh google tos

 

IS Freeware allowed

 

If the content is legal, then you can.

If the content is illegal, then you are not allowed.
