File Maker Pro 6 or less EOL

    I'm a new user to OptiGold ISP and while I'm gathering all the necessary components to get things going I have come to learn directly through the FileMaker website all of Filemaker 6.0 products or prior versions will cease to be sold as of Sept 17th.

    My first indication is to get the latest and greatest so I attemped to test FileMaker Pro 7.0 by converting the OptiGold files to 7.0 (.fm7) but failed.

    My questions are;

    Will .mf7 format be release in the near future? Is there support for anything other than FMP 5.5? Is there an upgrade path to follow for customer who want to utilize the newer 7.0?

    There are not currently plans to redevelop Optigold for FileMaker 7. For EOL products, they can still get them directly through us.
