Hey fellow DP members, I've been having trouble figuring out a way to market this article for my new site. It's a political site that has a few articles (we're in our first month). Does anyone have any tips on what I could do to spread the word. I have no experience with political sites and how to spread the word. Look into clean URL's via mod_rewrite – they'll make for a cleaner link drop when you market it. They also help a little if they contain keywords. Another tip, do some Google searches for related articles/blogs. Comment and contribute. Where appropriate, mention your article. Also, search around these forums for article submission sites. Last but not least, take a look at various social bookmarking sites. Good luck.
Thank you, I definitely need to look into rewriting my url's. It's kind of a pain with joomla 1.5 but I'm sure it'll help my SERPs. Ive been digging articles and stumbling, but I guess only time will tell how fast it can grow. Thanks for the advice
