I have the problem that some concurrents are posting negative reviews to my site at complaintsboard.com and other similar sites. Can I delete this reviews contacting with complaintsboard.com or other way? What can you can recommend else to solve the problem?
Dont know if you can make complaintsboard to change anything, but you could try to fight it by pushing these reviews deeper into the search engines. You can create new sites and make sure they are tailored around specific keywords that bring up negative feedback about your site. Promote these new sites by building links and adding the new sites to directories and other authoritative websites. The other solution is to review the sites just below the negative feedback and try to push those sites up the rankings. This can be achieved by promoting and building back links to these sites. In time these sites will surpass the negative results and dominate the search results. These methods should help remove any negative feedback or remarks about you or your company from showing up on the search results. Remember that this is an ongoing process and the negative feedback will start to reappear if you do not continue to monitor the new sites that replaced the negative feedback.
Unfortunately these types of websites NEVER remove complaints. The best way to go about this is to do SEO and get your company ranking for the entire first page (facebook, twitter, etc etc). That way the user doesnt immediately see the bad ranks.
lunaxod, I agree with the others that complaints are probably not going to be removed. However, I would attack this problem from another angle and turn it around to work for you. What I mean is take what they are saying as contructive criticism (except for the obvious hateful folks), and see if there is any truth to it. Really look at your site and what you are promoting with an open mind. Ask other people on this and other forums what they think about your site and get positive feedback from your fellow marketers. If there are any issues that need to be fixed, fix them and then that is all you can do. Unfortunately, negative feedback is just a part of doing business. Even the "BIG GUYS" out there get negative feedback on their products and services. I don't think they let it bother them too much. They just move forward, constantly make their products/services better, respond to customers in a timely fashion and continue to do business. By the way, what is your website? I'm sure we would all ove to have a peek and give you some constructive feedback. Good Luck!
I wish you the best of luck with this. I know how damaging negative reviews can be...even if they are false.
Ignore them. All websites have persons who don't like them. Also maybe your competitors do it. Ignore them and try to give good services to your users. And after a while your site will be known enough and no one doesn't believe these reviews.
For every negative review, get 5 positive reviews done! No product or service is squeaky clean - in fact negative reviews are a good thing... it shows at least your open...
I seriously doubt there is a marketer with 0 negative reviews. Just make sure that regular people and customers have no reason for writing such reviews and you'll be fine.
Thanks to all! Most of all negative feedbacks are written by my competitors and I can proof it, because that users left negative feedbacks to 3-5 my competitors. My niche is Replica Watches. I would try to promote positive feedbacks to my site.
