Closer fight than most people expected.

I didn't realize they were good friends.

 

I thought it pretty much went as you'd expect. Conor was trying to get an early KO. It was his only chance of winning, he wasn't going to outbox Mayweather.

What this fight highlighted is the punching power difference between boxers and UFC fighters. It was very evident just how much harder Mayweather was hitting and he is 40 years old.

 

The Twitter is buzzing now about how he ran out of stamina. Did the ref stop the fight prematurely? I just watched the end of it on YT and I thought it wasn't a full KO.

 

Conor is a legend. He went 10 rounds with the best fighter in the world on his first try. WOW.

 

It was a fair stoppage. He was gassed and was not defending himself.

 

UFC Live Stream Crashed During the McGregor Mayweather Event. Couldn't Watch the Fight I Paid For!

 

In my opinion it was the fake of the century. McGregor is an incredible MMA fighter, but boxing is a different sport. He never had real chances, and the fight only reached the 10th round because it mustn´t finish soon, there is a lot of money behind it and people have to enjoy the show more than a few minutes. And maybe this way they can speculate with a rematch and earn another giant dollar amount.
