FIFA World cup affecting adsense income ????

I have been seeing a reasonable dip in my adsense income from the day fifa world cup started. Dose anyone here feel the same.

 

yeah little bit though but its comes every 4 yrs so no worries

 

That would probably for sites that has something to do with sports ... or are you asking an overall effect?

if you check my signature links you'll know my blogs has nothing to do with sports....but i don't know why its happening. This has hammered on my this months target heavily

 

It was affected and it is still affected. Hope that the USA team will be disqualified soon

 

Drastic my site visitors down 50% during FIFA.

 

yeah i noticed that too..... was surprised it made that much of a difference.. maybe it's just the adsense reporting playing up

 

Yes, I also noticed some changes in my traffic. I hope it will be fine soon.

 

Traffic has affected. Twitter is affected too.

 

I also saw my sites visitors fell during starting of Fifa world cup.
Hope this will be normal again.

 

I will say yes but some niche will have more traffic such as soccer site

 

I guess it depends where your traffic is coming from, but if your traffic is from the US it should not be affected at all by the World Cup.

 

yess anallll, no body is surfing the net because they are all watching FIFA.

 

Think people need to know or remember that it is exam season.

People are busy with exams and do not have time to surf relaxing/random websites.



That with the addition of the World Cup = Traffic Killer!

They will both be over soon though, not going to stay like the recession

 

You can't do anything with that or may be you can start a WC site.

 

Because this time people are just crazy about World Cup,If you want by that time you also can make world cup football related blogs/sites and balance the traffic

 

i'm sure our world doesn't consist of mostly kids

That's definitely the answer as I have been seeing a slump in traffic for the past two weeks. I can't really put it on the World Cup but I could have an idea to pin it on worldwide schooling and exams.
