ffmpeg resource requirements

    what server resources does ffmpeg use?
    ie. ram, cpu

    im going for a vps server (after the data centre had destroyed my current website on dedicated) and use of ffmpeg is a medium-term goal of the site,

    Depends upon how much processing you need done by ffmpeg and complexity of jobs.
