Hi i need help installing ffmpeg and flv2tool on godaddy , but i have a aproblem is share hosting, and i have no ssh access, it can be done?

 

That is not possible on GoDaddy shared hosting.

 

i have dedicated IP host...

And do you know which hosting have this ones codecs installed ?

 

This will simply not work on a GoDaddy shared plan. I do know that Dreamhost.com has these addons pre-installed.

Yes if you have a dedicated server, you can do whatever you want with it.

My site was hosted by BlueHost. I asked them if FFMPEG is sopported. They said "NO". I did a search on their help center and found this http://helpdesk.bluehost.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&id=317

So I don't know if you can costum install the above features on their server. If you do, will it against their policy? Cause I wanted so bad to have it install it too, so that I can run a video sharing script like youtube.
