FFmpeg command-line parameters?

I am trying to add some type of text or logo somewhere on a video that I am converting to advertise for my own website. I’m sure there is a way to do this by adding in the correct parameters how-ever I’m new to this and I have no clue how to work it fully yet.

Can someone give me some tips? If there’s no way to add a watermark or I was thinking of creating a subtitle file to add in… is this possible?

    Any help would be great.

Please look at this link to see the command line options: http://tinypaste.com/aa337

    Thanks in advance.
