Do any of you use the old school FFA links? Do they really help in SEO

The are so dead I haven't even heard of anyone using them in 5 years. They suck, will bring very little legit biz to your site and if you use adsense, could very well get your account dropped by goog

I don´t think google would go as far as banning everyones accounts that use FFA links...but they aren´t as good as they used to be. Nonetheless, they are probably better then nothing, but your efforts would probably be better spent in other places.

I have seen a few old link farms which have been indexed for years and not updated in years either, some of them still geocities. Some of those benefit based on age of indexing, but new ones don´t.

I did one of those years ago. I think it took about 10 minutes to download all the spam email I got the next morning, and that was with dsl speed. Don't waste your time. You will probably get better results in traffic by telling your parents about your site.
