I prefer FF... IE gives me a lot of headaches in terms of design layout, like padding, tables, etc...

she's not crazy , she "heard".
I would say 'several' sites but not 'most'
he's right, there are issues though I cannot recall any sites off the top of my head. PITA though, when you come across a site and it tells you - in your face mr opera browser, you need FF or IE for this site to function properly.

I gave FF a spin just for that reason, among other things.

That is just bad coding on the website in the end. Any webmaster can write a site which can shutout a particular browser if they wanted to. It is becoming rarer to find sites such as these nowadays. Only takes a couple of clicks to get Opera to say it is IE or Mozilla which then passes the test to let them into such sites though. Cannot blame the browser for the bad coding of a site.

Did you know that Opera users have had this ability to restart from crashes for the last 6 years or so at the point when the crash occured?

    It is a handy feature.

It also has a little bin which allows you to recover any tab you may have accidently closed.

that's true too. I knowsome of the ones I was having trouble with were old and crusty data portals  looks like they're design/code could have easily been a decade old
I loved that feature! super handy for sure

Nothing wrong with that. It would be a bit more helpful if you gave your reasons as to why.

Btw, congratulations on your 100th post.

if you want tabs with the old version of IE, then install the Yahoo toolbar.

But it's best to upgrade to IE7.
