So I keep hearing that if you cut back on the number of AdSense ads that you display per page, those fewer ads pay off better. For example, you've got 3 large ad units per page. Cut out 2 of those units, leave yourself with 1 unit, and maybe even step down to a smaller size unit. Then...naturally that remaining unit contains only the highest priced ads. But does anybody have proof of this or personal experience, or is it more rumor and hearsay?
If you put to many ads your page may look terrible. Also there's always the smart pricing effect, which you should be aware of.
All of my testing points to the opposite conclusion. I believe that people who are seeing better results from fewer ad blocks are displaying their ad blocks in a less-than-optimal order. The first ad block in your HTML source code should occupy the highest CTR position on your page. If you fail to follow this rule, then each additional ad block will lower your earnings.
try it for 2 week. different site has different result because of the design. Better try it out yourself
Depends on what your looking for if you are looking for return traffic and multiple clicks less is more, if your looking for an MFA style more is more
