    Hi,

Have a few questions regarding paypal.

    1) I am in India and have an unverified paypal acc. I wan to know whats the receiving limit for unverified Indian account.

    2) I am expecting a big transaction soon through my paypal for which I need to verify my acc. I don't have a CC currently and though I have already applied for one, it would take some time. I have tried my ICICI debit card, but it doesn't work. My question is can I use any prepaid visa/master card (like these & This) to verify my paypal acc.

    3) Does HDFC netsafe work in this regard? (Though it wont help much as I dont have a HDFC acc),

    4) Any other alternative you may know.

    Please help.

There is no limit for receiving money in unverified paypal account (only sending and withdrawal limit).

You can verify your paypal account using addon credit card also if anyone in your family (dad, mom, brother, sisiter) having one credit card.

    DON.

the last thing you would want to do business with paypal is to have an unverified pp account. paypal hates unverified accs, so itll be wser to get it verified FIRST, and to receive the mony later.

    1) I am in India and have an unverified paypal acc. I wan to know whats the receiving limit for unverified Indian account.
Ans: Unverified paypal users can withdraw there amount to bank you can use XOOM oops i think XOOm also wont accept buy a VCC and verify it.

Ans: Buy a vcc from a seller Google it you will get it verified today itself ;)

    3) Does HDFC netsafe work in this regard? (Though it wont help much as I dont have a HDFC acc),
Ans: To withdraw? (Question under answer :D)

    4) Any other alternative you may know.
    Ans: moneybookers altenative to paypal.

Better do this.Buy a vcc from anyone it was allowed before here but not now search on google and you will find someone selling it.Activate your paypal account using it.Add your bank account to your Paypal account remember Paypal account holder name and bank account holder name shoudl be same and then withdraw the amount its dam easy nothing to worry in it and if you add your credit card then there may be lots of problems better go for VCC they are more reliable and tension free :D

    I hope it helps

Yeah. It's better just to withdraw money through linked bank account [Withdrawal limit is much more than sending limit, don't confuse the two]. Bank account should have the same name as that on the paypal account.

^well thanx. I am not using a VCC then. Anyway, if there is no receiving limit then I can take some more time in verifying. Hopefully I will get a CC by then.

Officially speaking, there is no receiving limit but after hitting a certain amount like $1000 or $3000 (depending on your country), they will limit your account and require you to submit documents to prove your identity and also the need to verify your account.

There is no limit in receiving money from paypal eventhough its unverified but it might cause you problems later on if your not going to verify your paypal and you received huge some of money so it is much better for you to verify your paypal
