Hi all, yesterday I opened a free graphics site www.colordev.com and I think some might find it useful. Basically, it takes seconds (/few clicks) to create a unique 3d bar or background that (at least) you like. Just keep clicking the design you like the best. Finally, use the magnify-links to save your design. Yes it's free, enjoy Also, do you know if any other site or software tool is using that kind of "multiple-choice-selection"-evolution for creating some kind of graphics?
Thanks tudorel, the fireworks styles gradient collections look far better than the image I had in mind. Honestly, I had always been totally overlooking the fireworks and overrating flash and gimp as ways for unique gradient designs. Ok, now I'll have to re-think that idea When I update my base tiny image collection, I will probably add patterns from some free fireworks style collection. But ok tools are many and I am pretty sure some hardcore designer somewhere prefers making the his tiny images with hex-editor
Hey nice site. The only thing I suggest would be improving the design of your site just to make it more appealing.
Thanks Vjdawson and Poemo, you have no idea how happy those comments made me True, that I kept like 95% of the focus in just getting the graphics evolution things to work. Now the site is just 2 days old and there's lots of room for improvements (better quality) , additions (massive 3d-button collection) and changes (new layout, better base images for evo). And it is great that no one seems to be know of any other site, making graphics by evolution. Who knows, maybe it is truly a new graphics design method?
Thanks wasifkhan, I start making those layout changes tomorrow. And as no one could show any other software that was using the evolution method within the graphics generation / improvement. Well, I started thinking it could be really new. And I took it to my responsibility to make sure the method will not be locked behind 'evil' software patents. So now I have now published the descriptions of all the patentable things in it - at least I think so.
