Few Doubts On Directory Submission Service...need Help...!!!

Hello guys...I need somebody to clear my doubts.I saw an offer of submitting my site to 1500 directories having PR from 5 to 0. I am very interested in paying for such a service. But my doubt is that most of the directories will ask for a back link when we submit our link. I see most of them asking me to paste a code to my site before submitting mine to that directory. My doubt is that how can those people who claims to add my site to 1500 directories could do that without providing a back link from my site? Is this paid service can be trusted? Please give me your expert opinions guys...
    Thanks in advance...:)

You have raised nice questions, almost all of the directories require backlink to be added, but some doesn't and those directories will accept your link, but the rest which require backlinks will never approve your listing unless they find backlink in the site submitted. So it's just a wastage. Instead you can manually add to 10-20 directories yourself by adding backlink to your site. You dont have to give backlink in your main homepage. for e.g your site is yoursite.com you can put all the backlinks in one page as yoursite.com/backlink and while filling up the forum you can submit yoursite.com/backlink for reciprocal links :)

    Good Luck.

There are probably better things that you can spend your money on instead of directory submissions. That directory submission service may give you a few good backlinks, but overall it is not worth it. All of the links would be on PR0 pages.

Thanks guys...but I have another doubt.
They say that they will send a detailed report at the end of the service about the directories they have submitted. An html report, from where I can go to the corresponding directory which shows my website link. So they will send 1500 links like that as proof in the report. Also they will mail everyday about the advancement of submission. Of that 1500 directories, 625 are having PR>=1. Rest PR0 directories. What do u say guys? How will they manage to get my website added there without a back link? Is this service worth...???

There are plenty of free directories that do not require a backlink. I manage a list of these free directories (see sig), and there are many more then what I have listed.

Regarding PR, I would not be too concerned with the PR of the directories they submit to. Many of the higher PR directories we see these days are using domains picked up in auction or dropped. Legitimate high PR free directories can take months to review free submissions, if ever. I would personally submit to the newest directories you can find. This way your submissions will be reviewed quickly, and your listings will not be competing with many others.

In your submission report, you should expect to get the URL, category, and date of each submission. Some submission reports provide more detailed information including which anchor text (link title) was used, etc. Ask for a sample report before you purchase if it is of a concern to you.

Directory submissions are one of the most affordable way to get backlinks. Even though most listings will reside on PR 0 pages, that does not mean it will not help. And it does not mean those PR 0 pages will not improve over time. Just by being indexed, even a PR 0 page may actually have 1/10th of a PR 1. Multiply this across many listings, and it helps. I have PR 4 sites, that rank well, with backlinks only from directory submissions. Granted the sites are not in competitive niches, but they still earn me revenue from the traffic they receive from organic search positions.
