.coms Placecalled.com (Maybe a site about and explanining the internet) Bestworldonline.com (Maybe a community or gaming site) mintantiques.com (Antique shop) Sitetrouble.com (Website selling website software/ebooks/forum on site probs criticismonline.com (A place to criticise differant topics maybe?) whatdream.com (Proboly my worst domain name ever!) .co.uks dishs.co.uk fashionchick.co.uk hostalot.co.uk d0p.co.uk .info baggit.info intresting.info domaintrend.info explorehistory.info All of these were hand picked by me, i understand alot of them might be crap but im on a learning curve, more of a hobby atm. If you could possible say the ones you like? the ones worth more than reg? ones with good development value? Thanks!
.info domains: domaintrend.info could be worth to develop a portal site about domain names, e.g. with some kind of marketplace and discussion forum. When being sold together with a working website, maybe $1000+. Generally .info domains are not worth much because of this TLD type is still quite unrecognized and often misused. The other domains may sell for a few hundreds, while I think that intresting.info is worth less than the others (misspelled dictionary words are not a sale argument ;-)
.co.uk domains: I think that just hostalot.co.uk and dishs.co.uk could be worth more than $1000, the others are mainly misspelled dictionary words. But the main problem is that you are limited to the UK market, which is not really big (at least compared to general topic TLDs like .com).
And finally .com domains (hope that it is acceptable considering the forum rules to split replies, but I found it so easier to read): > mintantiques.com (Antique shop) Not sure what "mint" refers to, so we can't speak of a dictionary-like domain. I doubt it sells for more than $200, if overall. Maybe worth for some kind of affiliate business, but I guess that this kind of market hasn't much to offer here. > whatdream.com (Proboly my worst domain name ever!) Why so negative ? Sure, it is not really a business-like name but maybe an ad agency or affiliated company (artwork, desktop publishing, screen design) is interested in. Anyway, I would rate it higher than mintantigues.com for sure. > Placecalled.com (Maybe a site about and explanining the internet) I estimate around $200, likely less. I don't feel this domain being suited for anything Internet-related. "A place called dot com" - okay, that make sense. Anyway, I'm not alter my appraisal. > Bestworldonline.com (Maybe a community or gaming site) Nice domain, around $1000 USD. A bit too long in my mind, but easy to remember. When marketing this domain or developing a website for it, you may use "BestWorldOnline.com" to make it easier to recognize and maybe also register the abbreviation BWO.tld. > Sitetrouble.com (Website selling website software/ebooks/forum on site probs Some kind of community about website design. Maybe worth a few thousand dollars, but I would try to create a community website of my own first (it could increase the value of the domain when having a website ready to use). > criticismonline.com (A place to criticise differant topics maybe?) My estimation would be $500 to under $1500 if sold without any working concept or website. The domain can mean anything or nothing and while this increases the value normally, in this case it lacks of a good usage in my mind (at least I have no idea of a possible application at hand). Anyway, perhaps some kind of public discussion forum or shoutbox...
Nice reply though alot of differant opions some people have said all of those above are reg price of below ah man its hard to know
I am agreed with tobiaseichner's appraisals he is right. Some of your domains like Sitetrouble.com, criticismonline.com, whatdream.com really worth more than $100- $300. Jay
