This is highly pathetic. They thought this is similar to that of male Circumcision. God only can save these people.

 

This is sickening on so many levels; and besides that goes against evolution AND nature, and thus God - if you believe in a god, that is.

Females are the way they are "down there" to make sex an enjoyable experience and most basically, to encourage breeding.

Muslim males not insist on spousal rape, but also on ensuring the woman can't enjoy sex.

IMO circumcision should be banned at all. I doubt God ordered the circumcision too.
If God does not want a part of the human body, He has the power to make people without that part.
One does not have to cut off anything from his body to "proove" his love of God.

So many muslims are circumsized and yet there are no proofs they are more righteous than others, and Islam is not seen as a better religion than the others.
What is the point of doing it if there is no benefit, but loss?

 

What exactly is female circumcision? Sorry I just don't feel like doing a research for it. It sounds really sick if you ask me and I've never heard of anything like this before.

Thanks Darpie. I just scanned through and never bothered to read it. It's just a complete and utterly full of BULLOCKS. For the love of Pete, why would they even want to do that? Would they want their own daughters to go through such ordeal?

No spiritual masters ever confirmed circumcision is ordered by God.
Every part of the human body is sacred and should not be removed except for life threatening reasons.

wmghori - thousands of Muslims MINIMUM (I expect millions) are still doing this. Even in civilized and non-barbaric, backwards countries.

ST12 - There is a difference between male and female circumcision. Female circumcision can actually cause health issues as well as make sex not at all enjoyable; there is ZERO reason to do it.

Male circumcision I have mixed feelings about; not on a religious basis (not religious) but just being practical.

Babies put under anesthesia don't feel a thing, which is how it is typically performed unlike many years ago. It also helps with hygiene, (I'm not saying men who are uncut aren't clean, not at all - only that it is easier for circumcised males to keep clean,) and from what I know it also makes sex MORE enjoyable. (I know a few guys who have opted to be circumcised later in life who were not as children.)

Also, women typically prefer a circumcised partner; it makes certain things much easier. (For example, oral sex not only feels better from what I've been told, but it is also far easier to perform on a circumcised male, and supposedly anal sex can present a hygiene risk with the uncut.)

Just my two cents.

in my country this is vital for male but didn't heard it for female except some tribal sunnies in south of Iran but don't know they do it now or not.

 

We need a police department that deals exclusively with the abuse of children for religious reasons. How on earth can we let these savage animals do this to children?

I've asked it before and i'll ask it again... what, besides religion, could justify the mutilation of a childs genitals?

I can assure you it is NOT bollocks it does happen and as long as there are people like you that live in denial then this act of mutilation will never be stopped.

 

Yeah, that's grossly wicked. The fact that a kid cannot defend or have choice makes it worse, but then again when something bad happens to you, its your option to EVEN the score.

I read the article about the girls who were angry with their mother. I think being angry at someone for physically and mentally harming you is kind of like forgiving them a little bit. A person who really was wronged would most likely start a damn revolution and destroy a bunch of pro-FGM mothers.

On the other hand some women do go under the procedure willingly see the documentry "The Perfect Vagina"
