To my knowledge, the Iraqi government hasn't invited envoys from Iran into their country. If you have any proof to the contrary, I'd like to read about it.
There is an Iranian embassy in Iraq. http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2007-02-06-iranian-official_x.htm?csp=34 http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/02/06/iraq.main/
I've no doubt an Iranian embassy exists in Iraq. What I was unclear on was whether the Iraqi government had invited the diplomats back into the country. From the links you posted, it appears the diplomat was arrested for some undisclosed reason This part made me laugh. Hasn't Iran said all along we have no business in Iraq, but all of a sudden it's now our responsibility to secure the release of their diplomat who was arrested by non-US forces or forces not under US control?
He was a diplomat at the Iranian embassy. They have an ambassador in Iraq http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/01/29/africa/web.0129iranians.php?page=1 As for the US responsability for the Iranians, it's just the same "you broke it, you bought" it theory used by those who want excuses to keep US/UK troops in Iraq.
you need to learn more english, if iranian diplomats are welcome in iraq, then the protection of them falls under the protection of iran, an embassy is the sovereign property of the state the embassy belongs too. unless requested, the protection outside the embassy is of the embassy staff of that sovereign nation, but if requested, they can pay for the host state to provide protection. iranian embassy siege in london, made this rule apply. the uk was no allowed to enter the iranian embassy without irans permission, and iran sued the uk for damages when we rescued their ambassador
Hey, just because she has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp no need for that kind of abuse is there? I'm hoping that all 15 of them get released, along with the 5 Iranians captured in Iraq.
This story states that Jalal Sharafi was taken from his car by armed men in Iraqi military uniforms. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/02/06/iraq.main/
you mean you want to trade uk personal for people the uk never kidnapped? if iran has a beef with the usa or iraq, then they can kidnap their personal and trade direct, or are you really a fuckin moron?
i guess that means it aint usa troops huh? if you read it all again, it states who helped, and who they caught, and who iran claims to be responsible, and we all know they are irresponsible for their own protection, unless they pay for extra.
Are you really that much of a dumb slag? The best way of resolving this crisis is to do it peacefully and that means a release of these captives on both sides. That way nobody gets killed and there is no further escalation of the absolute disaster the US led illegal invasion of the Middle East has caused.
Here's the episode where the US invaded a supposed Iranian consulate, which upset the Kurdish authorities. (The US says the building had no diplomatic protection). http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/01/29/africa/web.0129iranians.php?page=1 In the other story the troops who abducted the Iranian in his car were said by one Iraqi official to report to the US directly. There are plenty of stories elaborating on this, but I don't feel like fetching them, since I don't think they will be read anyway
your mentality is below reason, you have to call me a slag to insult my gender? not my intelligence, when you act so stupid and cant defend what you are saying, without resorting to insulting the female gender i think it's time you got banned from here
look the story you linked to said nothing about the USA, it did say that iraq cops chased the cars and stopped one and arrested 4 people. it says nothing about the usa troops being there, nore taking part as they where not present, what iran propaganda stats, has nothing to do with it ok.
I have put links to multiple stories. One describes the Iranian being taken from his car by alleged Iraqi troops who allegedly work directly for the US. Another talks about the men detained at what the Iranians and Kurds call a consulate, but what the US describes as just a building with no diplomatic standing. Here's another link: http://www.denverpost.com/nationworld/ci_4996515
I think you need to read what you type samantha, you have been very abusive towards me in at least 2 posts in this thread alone, let alone other threads. If you cannot accept abuse back then please refrain from using such disrespectful and discusting language. Many thanks.
It appears you've confused two seperate incidents. The latest story from the denver post is talking about the US capturing the initial 6 Iranians. The first links you posted are about a single Iranian being arrested by the Iraqi police or military.
you are free to call me a dumbass, an obnoxoius person, even an idiot, but use words that are degrading to my gender, or offencive to my gender and i'll hit back hard, ps. you cant hit me or hurt me on the net, so i can talk back without fear of being punched by any guy.
There are multiple incidents. I pointed them out because some belie the argument that the Iranians don't have a diplomatic presence in Iraq. Some stories describe either the abduction of one man from his car by people in Iraq uniforms, who were said to work for the US government, and a separate incident where the US invaded what the Kurds and Iranians say was a consulate.
Its funny how Bush has shut up in this one... Blair probably called him up and said don't fuck this one up, i can handle it myself. I'm sure the soldiers will be freed soon as Iran has made its point(s)
Okay. So people were abducted by people that wore uniforms that looked similar to Iraqi security forces uniforms, and the only news source that claims the abductors had official anything was a student news organization.
